Candidates who participated in the Mains exam for Officer positions in scales 1, 2, and 3 can now view their results. What is IBPS RRB CWE Exam?

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, abbreviated as IBPS, administers the Regional Rural Banks (RRB) Common Written Exam (CWE). IBPS RRB CWE exam is conducted to induct bankers for Gramin Banks or Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). IBPS conducts the RRB CWE Exam every year to enroll suitable candidates for the positions of Officers and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in various Regional Rural Banks across the country. It is one of the largest recruitment banking exam which inducts about 8000-10000 bankers every year. IBPS RRB exam is conducted in online mode. The examination will be two-tiered for the positions of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officers Scale I, which means that it will be held online in two phases: preliminary and mains. The Interviews will be conducted only for the Officers post. There is no provision for any interview for the post of IBPS RRB Clerk.

  • Candidate should be a Certified Associate (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or MBA in Finance from a recognised university.

        5.  Marketing Officer

  • Candidate should have done MBA in Marketing from a recognized university.

The basic approach to prepare for the IBPS RRB CWE 2024 exam can be filtered as below: 

  • Revise from previous years’ question papers: You should focus on the revision of critical topics. They should put maximum effort into topics with maximum weightage in the IBPS RRB prelims exam.
  • Revise with short tutorials: A number of video tutorials are available online for bank exam preparation. Short video tutorials are very helpful for revision.
  • Build a section-wise preparation tip: There is a fixed time to attempt each section. In order to attempt the maximum number of questions, you must have a clear strategy to attempt each section. If you want to attempt the Reasoning Ability section then they must pre-decide in mind what types of questions to solve first in this section. For eg: one can devote the first five minutes to puzzle-based questions, the next two minutes to direction-based questions, and so on.
  • Analyse mock tests: You should take the sectional and full-length mock tests during preparation. While in the last phase of preparation, you should not attempt too many mock tests. Also, you must analyze your performance after every mock test. You should identify the weak areas and work on improving those areas.
  • Be clear with concepts: You must be clear with the concepts. The standard of the IBPS RRB syllabus is graduation level. You can clear their basic concept of Quantitative Aptitude and rules of grammar from their high school books.
  • Devise section-wise preparation strategy: You need to prepare a strategy for each section of the exam. The study plan should be such that you divide equal time to each section of the exam.
  • Learn shortcuts: You should learn shortcuts for solving questions. Since there are sectional timings, learning shortcuts will help you to attempt a maximum number of questions in less possible time.

How to Calculate IBPS RRB Expected Score Using Answer Key?

The candidates can calculate their expected score using IBPS RRB Answer Key 2024 by following the steps mentioned below:

  1. Count all the correct answers you have marked in the exam. Assign 1 mark to each correct answer.
  2. Assign -0.25 marks for incorrect answers.
  3. Assign 0 marks for unattempted answers.
  4. Calculate the overall marks using this formula:

IBPS RRB Selection Process 2024

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will announce the provisional allotment reserve list after the examination has been conducted. The IBPS CWE RRB Selection Process 2024 is conducted for the candidates who will qualify for the entrance examination with the qualifying marks and the Interview round. The seat allotment of the candidates is done based on ranks in the merit list and post preferences.​

What is the difference between IBPS Clerk and SBI Clerk exam patterns?

There is no difference between exam patterns for SBI Clerk and IBPS Clerk. There are two stages to these exams: preliminary and main. There are three sections on the preliminary exam: Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, and English Language. There are 100 total marks available for the preliminary exam. The exam duration for both exams is 45 minutes. Four sections make up the main exam: quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability and computer aptitude, general English, and general/financial awareness. There are 200 total marks available for the main exam. The test has a 120-minute duration. The degrees of difficulty differ from one another. Exam SBI Clerk is more difficult than IBPS Clerk.
