    Here are some of the ISI Admission Test 2025 exam day guidelines:

    • You must arrive at the exam centre by the reporting time, which is mentioned on the hall ticket. For the forenoon session, you must take your allocated seat by 10 am, and for the afternoon shift, it is 1.30 pm.
    • Arrive early at the ISI Admission Test centre to avoid any inconvenience and last-minute rush, especially in Agartala, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Gwalior, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Heritage Institute of Technology at Kolkata, Mohali, Mumbai, Rourkela, Nagpur, Pune, Varanasi, Chennai, Dhanbad, Goa, Guwahati, etc, where the campuses are large and may take additional time to locate the exam hall.
    • As mentioned earlier, the printed copy of the ISI Admission Test admit card is a must.
    • You can leave the exam hall starting 30 minutes before the examination ends. In such cases, however, you cannot take the question paper out of the classroom. You have to submit the question booklet to the invigilator.
    • Some of the essentials allowed along with the hall ticket include ballpoint pens, a sharpener, an eraser, pencils, and a valid photo ID. For some offered courses like M.Tech QROR, Geometry Box containing a Set Square, a Diagonal Scale, and a Compass is also permitted.
    • For answering OMR sheets, you can use ballpoint pens.
    • Mobile phones, laptops, computers, smartphones, smart watches, tablets, calculators, computing devices, etc, are not allowed inside the exam premises. 
    • There is no provision for storing your personal belongings at the exam centre. The institute will not be liable for any loss or damage to such items.
    • Before beginning the exam, check the test code on the question booklet and ensure that it is the same on the admit card for that session. If it does not match, immediately inform the Supervisor. 
    • You must mention the Registration Code and the Question Booklet number on the answer sheet/ OMR sheet.
    • Do rough work space allocated in the question booklet for the MCQ-type test. For rough work or any mark on the sheet, you may be disqualified.
    • For the descriptive type test, do the rough work in the area given in the answer booklet.
    • For test codes as DST, DAR and DAS, you have to return your hall ticket before leaving the examination hall.
    • You must religiously follow the instructions given by the invigilator and must start the test only when told to do so. Do not break the seal of the question paper booklet unless the officials instruct you to do so.
    • Improper conduct or adoption of any unfair practices in the examination hall or the examination centre premises will result in disqualification and claims for admission to the offered courses.
    • At the examination centre, the conducting body may capture biometric information also for identification.

    • The admit card print must be generated on an A4-sized page. The text must be legible, and the photograph and the scanned signature must be clearly visible.
