BITS HD 2025 Registration Process has commenced. Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) has initiated the registration process and released the BITS HD 2025 application form on the official website at bitsadmission.com. According to the official schedule, the last date to fill out the BITS HD 2025 application form is April 19, 2025, by 5 PM. The BITS HD 2025 Exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 26, 2025, and June 01, 2025, for admission into their M.E/M.Pharm/M.Phil programs. BITS HD application form 2025  should only be filled by the candidates who meet the BITS HD 2025 eligibility criteria for the exam. GATE/GPAT candidates can also appear for the BITS HD exam 2025. While filling out the application form the candidates need to fill in their program preferences in order, and three preferences of the exam center as well. One candidate can only submit a single form for admission to a higher degree. Any mistakes made by the candidates can be rectified during the BITS HD 2025 application correction window. Still, candidates should note that they will be restricted to changing only certain aspects of the application form. So they should fill out the application form with clarity and avoid any sort of mistakes. 

Only the candidates who pay the application fees of Rs 1000/- (for candidates who wish to apply through GATE/GPAT) and Rs 3500/- (including the fees of BITS HD online test) will be considered for further iterations in the admission process. BITS HD 2025 exam is a highly competitive exam conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, for admission into their M.E/M.Pharm/M.Phil programs. Candidates who desire to apply for admission to BITS' higher degree programs leading to M.E. or M.Pharm at any of its three campuses - Pilani, Hyderabad, or Goa - should take the BITS HD entrance exam. Candidates must be aware that admission to BITS Higher Degree programs will be granted via the GATE/GPAT results in addition to the BITS HD test. Candidates may apply for admission to three higher education degrees through BITS HD 2025, including the Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Philosophy (MPhil), and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in a variety of courses.

BITS HD 2025 exam is conducted in online mode and the test has two parts: Test 1 and Test 2. Test 1 is mandatory for all the aspirants and will be for 45 minutes of time frame holding 30 questions for 90 marks. It will have 15 questions each from core mathematics and English language skills & logical reasoning. Test 2 is for the students for all the HD programs except for ME in software systems and ME in environmental engineering. Test 2 is held to check the grasp of the students in their particular disciplines and will last for 105 minutes. Aspirants will get a total number of 70 questions in the test 2.

Steps to fill the BITS HD 2025

Step 1 - Registration: Candidates must first visit the official website and click on the application form link. Registration requires the entry of information such as name, date of birth, gender, email address, and cellphone number. After completing the registration process, the login credentials will be generated.

Step 2 - Form Filling: Candidates must now provide their personal, academic, and contact information. All of the information submitted must be true. The candidates need to submit programs of their choice while filling out the application form. Three exam centers must also be chosen based on personal preferences.

Step 3 - Document submission: Candidates need to submit their photo image of size 50 kb to 100 kb and signature of size 10 kb to 50 kb. The size of the other documents submitted by the candidates should be 100 kb to 300 kb. If appropriate, they will also want a scanned copy of their GATE/GPAT Scorecard. The scanned photographs must adhere to the requirements specified by the authorities.

Step 4 - Fee Payment: Candidates must pay Rs 1000/- for those who wish to be considered through GATE/GPAT, Rs 3500/- for those who wish to be considered through BITS HD online test, OR those who wish to be considered using both options. The BITS HD application fees can be paid using PayU Money credit/debit card/internet banking or using PayTM credit/debit card/internet banking. 

Step 5 - Form Submission: Finally, applicants must submit the BITS HD 2025 application form. A printout must be made for future reference.

BITS HD 2025 slot booking window is expected to commence from May 9, 2025 (tentatively).  Candidates must provide their application number, date of birth, gender, and email address to access the candidate site. BITS HD slot booking is an online method that allows you to reserve a date and time window for the online admission test. It should be mentioned that slot booking will be done based on applicant preferences and slot availability.

Following successful slot booking, students must obtain the admit card of BITS HD 2025 from the official website and keep it secure till the exam day. 

BITS HD 2025 admit card can be downloaded by the candidates from May 20, 2025, till the date of the exam. Only those candidates who are carrying the hall ticket will be allowed inside the examination center. The admit card is a crucial document for candidates appearing in the exam. The BITS HD 2025 admit card will contain essential information such as the candidate's name, roll number, photograph, exam date, time, and venue. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card to the exam center along with a valid photo ID proof. To download the admit card, candidates need to log in to the official website of BITS HD 2025 and enter their login credentials. The final list of the exam centers will be prepared based on the number of applicants and their preference for the exam centers. The candidates shortlisted will be informed about the BITS HD 2025 exam centers through the BITS HD 2025 hall ticket. The authorities have the right to make changes or not conduct the exam at some of the centers depending on various factors.

The BITS HD exam 2025 consists of two parts, Part 1 contains general topics which include Core Mathematics and English Language & Logical Reasoning while Part 2 contains topics from respective engineering disciplines. There is a certain selection process prescribed by the administrative authority of BITS which determines whether a candidate is selected or not. If the candidates qualify up to the selection criteria prescribed by the institute, he/she will be given admission to the program. After the entrance test is conducted, BITS HD releases the merit list containing the name of all the candidates who have scored above the cutoff score. The qualifying candidates are further called for the counselling process where they have to bring all the required documents. Further, the candidates will have to appear for the counselling process at allotted date and venue, get the documents verified and pay the admission fee to complete the admission process.
