Step-by-Step Process for Karnataka DCET 2025 Counselling

The various stages of the Karnataka DCET 2025 counselling process have been explained below - 

  • Document Verification- Candidates must attend the designated centres for document verification according to the schedule. Candidates must come to the facility with all of their original documentation. Candidates will be required to carry a "Verification Slip" following the verification procedure, which will include a "Unique Keyword".

  • Option Entry- During the option entry procedure, applicants must pick their colleges and courses. Candidates will be able to submit as many selections as they like before the deadline.

  • Seat Allotment- The authorities will publish the DCET 2025 seat allotment result based on the merit list, candidates' marks, and the alternatives they have locked in. Qualified candidates must report to their designated college and pay the fees. Candidates who are not satisfied with the seats have to wait for further counselling rounds. 

  • Fee Payment- In order for admission to be confirmed, applicants must pay the required fees using a demand draft. The candidates will be disqualified if they do not pay the fee by the deadline.

  • Reporting to Allotted Colleges- Lastly, the applicants must report to the colleges to which they have been assigned.

Candidates are required to produce the following documents for verification during the Karnataka DCET 2025 counselling - 

  • A printout of the DCET 2025 application form

  • An original copy or proof of the Challan made at the time of fee payment

  • Karnataka DCET-2025 Hall Ticket

  • SSLC/10th standard or equivalent marksheet

  • A diploma or equivalent scorecard for all the years/semesters

  • Study certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO/DDPI (for candidate belonging to the state of Karnataka)

  • 2 recent passport-size colour photographs

  • Rural Study Certificate (for candidates claiming to be under the rural category reservation)

  • Kannada Medium Study Certificate (for candidates availing of Kannada Medium quota)

  • Caste Certificate

  • Income proof

Dear Student,

KEA considers your final year marks i.e. 5th and 6th semester marks combined with Karnataka DCET score to determine rank. 1st and 2nd semester marks are not taken into consideration in this regard. However, please note that you must score at lease 45% aggregate in all the subjects in your final year of Diploma course (5th and 6th semesters) to be eligible.
