In KIITEE 2023, to get admitted to the B.Tech Computer Science course, you had to attain a closing rank of approximately 5,044. That is, your rank in the entrance test must have been amongst the top 5,044. Also remember that cutoffs change every year depending on variables such as the number of applicants and difficulty of the exam.
To be qualified for KIITEE 2023 counselling, you must have obtained at least 50% marks if you were a general category student. SC/ST/OBC students required a minimum of 40%, while physically challenged candidates in the general category required 45%. Physically challenged students in reserved categories also required 40%.
KIITEE cutoffs are decided keeping in mind factors such as the number of candidates, difficulty of the exam, number of seats available, and overall performance of the candidates. Your position in the exam matters a lot since more competition generates more cutoffs. Category-wise cutoffs are decided by KIIT, and only those who are at or above the specified rank get selected for counselling.
The KIITEE cutoff 2023 was announced soon after the conclusion of the exam. The cutoffs are usually not made public and the entire admission process post entrance exam is conducted offline.
The KIITEE 2023 cutoff implies the rank a candidate should achieve to secure admission to KIIT and other associated institutes. If one does not meet the cutoff, they can't participate in the subsequent rounds.
