Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a national-level scholarship test. It is organised for aspirants who wish to pursue research in the Science stream. After submitting the KVPY application form 2022, candidates are required to go through the selection process for the exam.
The KVPY Selection Process 2022 will consist of 2 stages. The first stage will be an aptitude test while the second stage will be an interview. An individual must clear both of the aforementioned rounds to avail KVPY scholarship.
The KVPY 2022 exam will be conducted in 2 rounds. The aptitude test will be granted more weightage than the interview. However, it is crucial to perform brilliantly in both stages in order to be eligible for the scholarship. Provided below are elaborated details on both the stages of KVPY 2022.
The aptitude test of KVPY includes two parts and Part 1 and Part 2 have 4 sections each. The exam is conducted in both English as well as Hindi languages at various KVPY exam centres located across the nation.
Candidates must note that the written aptitude test is the first step toward availing the scholarship programme. The KVPY syllabus 2022 will include all the questions from Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. Aspirants will be shortlisted for the interview round based on their performance in the aptitude test.
The interview round of KVPY is held not only to evaluate the Scientific knowledge of the candidates but also to analyse whether or not the candidate is suitable for the scholarship. The final merit list will be prepared by keeping in mind the performances in both- the aptitude test and interview round.
