Detailed Process of MAH BHMCT CET Seat Allotment 2024

The MAH BHMCT CET seat allotment 2024 will depend on certain factors like choice filled, merit and seat availability. This allotment of seats will follow a detailed process which can be referred to below:

  • Self Verification: Candidates are required to self-verify their seat allotment during round I of CAP. It must be done after accepting the declaration by logging in and verifying all the information such as category, gender, specific reservation, qualifying score and others mentioned in the application form. They are also advised to check for relevant documents uploaded by them.
  • Correction: However, if the claim by the student is not correct and they want to rectify the error they will have to report the matter through their login by online mode.
  • Seat Allotment as per first preference: Students who have been allotted a seat as per their first preference in Round I (auto-freeze) are required to pay the seat acceptance fee through online mode by logging in. Also, such students will not be eligible to sit for other subsequent rounds.
  • Seat allotted other than first preference: Candidates who are allotted a seat other than first preference and have self-freezed their allotment in Round I through their login have to accept the seat and pay seat acceptance fees through online mode. After acceptance, they will not be able to participate in other rounds.
  • Claim to get a better seat: Students who get a seat allotted other than their first preference and are looking for a better seat in other rounds are required to first claim the allotted seat in round I. They have to accept the same seat by selecting the ‘not freeze’ option. However, students have to pay the seat acceptance fee in online mode by logging in. The not-freeze option is for waiting for better seat allotment.
  • Report to the institute: Candidates after accepting the seat are required to report to the allotted institute for confirmation of their admission on the designated date as per the conducting body.
  • Admission Confirmation: After verification of the required documents, the institute will upload the admission of the candidates in the online system through the Institute Login immediately. Then students will be issued a system-generated receipt of confirmation of admission and fee paid receipt.
  • Cancellation of candidature in case of false claims: If any case it is found that the seat allotted to the candidate is based on false claims made in the application form by the candidate, then the institute will not offer admission to that candidate. They will have to raise the grievance by their login.

Seat Allotment for CAP Round II

Prospective students must keep the following crucial things in mind:

  • Round II seat allotment: All qualified applicants who participated in round II and were assigned a seat for the first time must self-verify their seat allocation. The applicant who was assigned the seat for the first time in Round II must pay the seat acceptance fee using his login online mode.

  • Final allotment: Participating applicants whose first allotment is made, who have improved in the allotment, or who have not improved (earlier seat kept) in Round II will be considered final.

  • Report to the designated institute: Such prospective students must visit in-person to the allotted university to confirm their admission.
