About NCHMCT JEE Exam 2025

The NCHMCT JEE Exam 2025 has been scheduled to be conducted on April 27, 2025, in a Computer-Based-Test mode, by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The candidates must target the desired college for admission as there are about 21 central IHMs, 25 state IHMs, 1 PSU IHM, and 27 Private IHMs that are affiliated with NCHMCT. All these institutes offer BSc (HHA) courses and the admission is based on the scores obtained in the exam. The questions are asked in both English and Hindi language. The NCHMCT JEE exam duration is three hours having multiple choice question patterns. A total of 200 questions are asked from different sections such as Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, and Aptitude for Service Sector.

NCHMCT JEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

General Requirements: There is no minimum score required of students on the qualifying exam. They must, however, meet the following specifications:

  1. Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam along with English being a compulsory subject. 

  2. Students who will be appearing for the Class 12th exam in 2025 are also eligible to sit in the NCHMCT JEE entrance. However, they will be eligible only if they submit proof of qualifying for the exam by September 20, 2025. Otherwise, their candidature will be cancelled.

Age Requirements: An applicant's age cannot exceed a certain limit. The age restriction is specified based on the following categories:

  1. For General, OBC-categorised, and General (EWS) students, the upper age limit is 25 years as of July 01, 2025. It means applicants who were born on July 1, 1998, or after, meet the criteria.

  2. For Physically challenged and ST/SC categorised students, the upper age limit is 27 years as of July 01, 2025. It means applicants who were born on or after July 1, 1996, are eligible.

Physical Fitness: Students must submit a certificate of physical fitness from a recognised medical practitioner.

Qualifying exams: The list of qualifying exams to be eligible for the NCHMCT JEE 2025 exam is mentioned below for the reference of the candidates:

  1. Central/State Board: Candidate must have completed their class 12 from a recognised Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE) or State Boards of Secondary Education. 

  2. Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognised university. 

  3. High School Certificate Examination of Cambridge University. 

  4. Candidates may be from any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in a Foreign County which should be recognised by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) / Association of Indian Universities (AIU). 

  5. Or they may have a General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at an Advanced (A) Level.

NCHMCT JEE Exam 2025 Tie-Breaking Policy

In case of tie-breaking when two or more candidates obtain the same score, the following criteria are applied.

  3. If the tie is still there, then the candidate older in age shall rank higher.
