The final selection for admission will be based on merit. This merit is calculated using 70% of the MCAER PG score and 30% of the candidate's CGPA from their previous academic results. Any additional weightages and the reservation policy will follow the State Government's guidelines. The minimum MCAER cutoff 2025 is expected to be 55% of the total merit required for postgraduate admission.
The MCAER PGCET Counselling process and seat allotment for the MCAER PGCET 2025 exam is expected to begin in August-September 2025.
The MCAER PGCET fee for the General category is INR 800 and for SC/ST/PwD category is INR 600.
Candidates can enrol on the various PG courses through the MCAER PGCET exam.
