MCAER PGCET 2025

The MCAER PGCET final list of eligible/non-eligible students was released on April 17, 2025, and the MCAER PGCET provisional list for eligible/non-eligible students was released on March 28, 2025. The final list PDF direct link is on the MCAER PGCET 2025 eligibility criteria page. 

The MAUEB conducting body released the MCAER PGCET 2025 notification in February 2025. The MCAER PGCET official notification and exam brochure was released in online mode:

Students must note that MAUEB began the MCAER PGCET application process on 15th February 2025 on the official website, and the last date to submit applications was 10th March 2025, which was later extended to 20th March 2025. The MCAER PGCET 2025 Admit Card is expected to be released by May 14th May, 2025 and available for download till 25th May, 2025.

The MCAER PGCET exam will be conducted from 23rd May to 25th May 2025, and the MCAER PGCET 2025 Result will be released on 10th June 2025, students can view the results on the official website.

The MCAER PGCET 2025 Answer Key will be released on 5th June 2025, and the Merit List is expected to be released in August 2025. The MCAER PGCET 2025 counselling schedule will be released after that.

The Maharashtra Agriculture Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) conducts the MCAER PGCET exam once a year, usually in June. The MCAER CET PG Exam is a state-level entrance exam held each year to accept students to various Master's degree programs in agriculture and allied sciences offered by Maharashtra's State Agricultural Universities.

What is MCAER PGCET 2025 Exam?

MCAER PG CET exam is administered by the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) and is held every year to provide PG-level admission to Master of Technology (MTech Course), Master of Science (MSc Course), and Master of Fisheries Science (MFSc) programmes offered by Maharashtra's State Agricultural Universities.

According to the official schedule, MCAER PGCET 2025 is scheduled to be conducted from May-June, 2025. The MCAER PGCET 2025 entrance exam is a State-level exam that is administered on paper/offline. Every year, approximately 10,000 candidates sit for the MCAER PGCET 2025 exam. 

Previously, MCAER PGCET was held to offer admission to UG-level professional degree courses in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Bachelor of Fisheries Science, BTech Agricultural Engineering, BTech Food Technology, BSc Hons in Community Science, and Biotechnology Engineering. Admission to the aforementioned courses is now granted based on an aspirant's performance in entrance exams such as JEE/ MHT CET/ ICAR AIEEA/ NEET.

  • BTech (Agri.Engg.) candidates are also eligible for admission to “Agril. Meteorology” subject only with CET- Subject: Agriculture.
