NCHMCT JEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria - Academic Qualification 

Candidates applying for NCHMCT JEE 2025 must be aware of the academic qualifications required to be eligible. Check out the below pointers to know more:

  • Students should have secured passing scores in class 12 or equivalent exams. 
  • English should be either a core, elective or functional subject in the qualifying exam. 
  • NCHMCT JEE can be also taken by the students who are appearing for class 12th or equivalent on a provisional basis.

  • Candidate must have a plus two level examination in the class 12th pattern of Senior Secondary Education from any recognised State/Central Board such as State Boards of Secondary Education, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for Indian School Leaving Certificate (ICSE).
  • If candidates have an intermediate or two-year Pre University Examination conducted by a recognised board or university they are eligible for NCHMCT JEE.
  • The High School Certificate Examination (HSCE) of Cambridge University is also one of the qualifying exam options. 
  • Candidates who have appeared for the General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) Level are also eligible for this entrance.
  • Having appeared for the H.S.C Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of the concerned state can also fill out the application form for NCHMCT JEE.
  • Candidates who have taken the Senior Secondary School Examination (SSSE) conducted by the National Open School (NOS) with a minimum of five subjects and English being one of the main subjects can appear for this entrance. However, the result of this exam must be submitted by the last week of September. 
  • If students have appeared for any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or a foreign country recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equal to the class 12th pattern of Senior Secondary Education they are eligible to sit for this entrance. 

NCHMCT JEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria - Age Limit

The upper age limit is 25 years as of July 1, 2025. Also, applicants born on or after July 1, 1995, are eligible for this entrance. 

SC/ST and PwD belonging to the SC/ST category 

The upper age limit is 28 years as of July 1, 2025. Candidates who are born on or after July 1, 1992, can apply for this entrance. 

The age limit criteria for Physically Challenged students are the same according to the category they belong to such as General, OBC, ST or SC. Candidates must note that only the date of birth recorded as per the secondary education board / pre-university certificate will be accepted for analysis the eligibility. The same is also required to be presented at the time of the counselling round. However, if candidates fail to do so, they will not be considered for counselling or admission. 

NCHMCT JEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria - Physical Fitness 

Students who qualify for NCHMCT JEE have to present a physical fitness certificate fulfilling all practical requirements as and when required in the course of admission. The same should be passed on through a medical practitioner.

NCHMCT JEE 2025 Reservation Criteria

As per the rules of the Government of India, applicants belonging to certain categories are admitted on the basis of the seats reserved for them. The allocation of seats for qualified and eligible applicants is in accordance with the reservation criteria of NCHMCT JEE 2025. All affiliated institutes of the council follow the reservation criteria.

  • Non Creamy Layer (OBC–NCL) category is as per the Central list of Other Backward Classes available on the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), Government of India. Thus, the candidates falling in this list may mention OBC in the Category Column. State list OBC Candidates who are not in OBC-NCL (Central List) must choose General.

  • For any category of disability ( locomotors, visual, dyslexia, speech, and /or hearing) benefit would be given to those who have at least 40% physical impairment.
