OJEE choice filling 2024 for B.Tech/M.Tech admissions have started on July 8, 2024 at ojee.nic.in. Candidates will be able to lock their choices for BTech admission on July 19, 2024 by visiting the official website at ojee.nic.in. Based on the choices locked by the candidates, the OJEE 2024 seat allotment result will be displayed on the official website on July 23, 2024. Through the OJEE choice filling 2024, candidates can select their preferred college/institute for admission. Candidates who will pass the OJEE 2024 or have a valid rank in GATE, JEE Main, GPAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, NIMCET, and ATMA will be eligible to participate in the OJEE 2024 counselling process. OJEE seat allotment 2024 result will be released round-wise based on the choices filled by the candidates, availability of seats, and rank secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam

OJEE 2024 Choice Filling Process

Here is the step-by-step process for OJEE choice filling 2024 that candidates can follow. 

• After you have registered for the counselling process and paid the registration fee, you will be able to begin with the choice filling option

• After successfully completing the counselling registration, you will have to click on the Fill Choice option

• There, you will find some instructions that you must read 

• On the choice filling page, you will find two blocks, one of which contain a list of OJEE participating colleges 2024 and the other will contain the choices you fill

• You can add multiple college choices to make sure that their is no disappointment in the future for not securing a seat

• It is important that you have arranged these colleges in the order of your preference 

• You must also choose a branch along with the college. For instance, if you are applying for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, your choice could be “College of Engineering and Technology (CET), Mechanical Branch” and this will be considered as one choice

• You will be able to swap or move your choices or options to change their preferences 

• You can and should select as many choices for colleges and branches as possible on the basis of their priority to have better chances of getting a seat

• Finally, when you are done filling all the choices, you can either click on ‘Save & Continue’ or ‘Submit’ button

How to Modify OJEE Choice Filling 2024?

If you want to change the college and branch preference after you have submitted the form, you can follow the steps given below. 

• Log into the website using your credentials

• Now click on the ‘Modify Selected Options’

• You will now be able to see the entire choice-filling list. Change the preferences of the intended college

• After you are done, click on the ‘Update’ button

During the OJEE 2024 choice filling, candidates can exercise the following options. 

Move-Up Choice

The candidate can move up any submitted choice by clicking the "Move Up" button. When the candidate selects the "Move Up" button, the choice above is relocated one position higher, and the choice above is shifted one position lower. This allows the applicant to move up any choice in the list of submitted selections.

Move-Down Choice

The candidate can move down any submitted choice by clicking the "Move Down" button. When the candidate selects the "Move Down" button, the choice below is relocated one position up and the one above is shifted one place down. This allows the applicant to move down any choice in the list of submitted selections.

Arrange Filled Choices

There is a separate interface for organizing the completed options. On a single page, the candidate can remove, move up, and move down any filled-out choice.

Interchange Filled Choices

This interface allows the candidate to interchange/swap two of their provided choices during the OJEE 2024 choice-filling process. This page will have two drop-down lists. These lists will be populated by the completed options. The candidate will select different options from the menus and push the interchange button. As the candidate presses the button, both options will be switched.

Rearrange Choices

A separate page will be there for changing/editing the preference order of multiple submitted options during the OJEE choice filling 2024. On that page, all submitted selections will be shown in order of preference, with the preference number modifiable. The candidate can update any preference order with a valid number and submit the changes with new preference orders.

Multiple deletions of filled-in choices

If a candidate wants to erase numerous submitted options in one go, he or she will use this interface. For each submitted choice, there is a checkbox to select the choice. The candidate can choose many options and then click the delete button to remove them all at once.

OJEE Seat Allotment 2024

The Odisha Joint Entrance Engineering Board declared the the OJEE 2024 seat allotment result online at ojee.nic.in on July 1, 2024. Candidates must input their application number and password to view their OJEE seat allotment 2024. Registered candidates who are satisfied with their seats can accept their seats by paying the seat acceptance fee till July 5, 2024. Candidates has been assigned seats depending on their OJEE 2024 scores and the choices filled by them. Authorities will conduct two separate provisional ro.unds of OJEE 2024 seat allotment for JEE Main 2024 qualifying applicants. After the release of the seat allotment result, students must download the provisional allotment letter and go to the designated institute for document verification and confirmation of their seat assignment.

Transfer of Seats

Only empty seats in one category can be transferred to another. For example, if some SC seats remain unoccupied after all allotment, they will be changed to general category seats. Similarly, candidates from the general category may fill vacant seats in the ST reserved category due to a lack of ST applicants. Seats reserved for all other categories, such as PC, GC, and Ex-Servicemen, shall be filled by general category applicants if the reserved category is not full, except the TFW category. If the proportion of seats reserved or the OJEE reservation criterion changes, it will be notified on the official website.
