AP ECET 2025 Exam: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has released the APECET 2025 exam date. The announcement for the AP ECET exam has been made by the AP Education Minister Nara Lokesh through his social media handle. According to the announcement, the AP ECET 2025 exam will be conducted on May 6, 2025. 

The Jawahar Lal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Anantapur, will conduct the AP ECET 2025 exam on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). AP ECET Application Form 2025 has been released on March 12, 2025 and the last date to apply is April 7, 2025. AP ECET admit card 2025 will be available from May 1, 2025. To appear for the AP ECET 2025 entrance exam, willing candidates must fill out the online application form on the official website: cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. AP ECET full form is the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance examination conducted every year by JNTU, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), to grant admission to Diploma courses in the fields of Engineering & Technology, Science, and Pharmacy. The AP ECET Result 2025 will be published following the conclusion of the AP ECET 2025 exam. Examinees can access the AP ECET results and the AP ECET 2025 Rank Card using their login credentials. To get the AP ECET Scorecard 2025, candidates must enter their registration number and hall ticket number. 

The qualifying percentage marks for a rank in AP ECET 2025 are 25% of the aggregate scores in the four subjects or 50 marks out of a total of 200. However, there will be no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates.

The ranking and evaluation process of AP ECET 2025 has been discussed below.

• Candidates will be ranked (Integrated Merit Rank) based upon the marks obtained by them in the AP ECET 2025 exam [FDH & B.Sc. (with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects)]
• The exam conducting body takes utmost care to avoid errors in evaluation, checking, scrutiny, tabulation and ranking. Hence request for re-totaling and revaluation of the AP ECET 2025 result will in no case be entertained. Candidates will be ranked in the order of merit in AP ECET 2025, separately in each branch of Engineering Course 
• According to the Government Order, all Diploma holders in any branch of Engineering/Technology, who qualify in AP ECET [FDH & B.Sc. (with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects)] 2025 are eligible for admission into B.Tech. in Information Technology and B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering branches. The Integrated Merit Rank is taken into consideration for admission into B.Tech in Information Technology and B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering branches. The Integrated Merit Rank is based upon the total marks secured in AP ECET 2025 [FDH] & B.Sc. (with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects) by candidates with Diploma in any branch of Engineering/Technology. 
• Resolving Tie in Engineering Stream: In case of a tie in aggregate, the marks secured in the Engineering subject, and in case of further tie the marks secured in the Mathematics subject and if the tie still persists, the marks obtained in the  Physics subject will be taken into consideration to decide the relative ranking of the candidates. In case of candidates getting equal marks in each of the four subjects, they will be bracketed for the purpose of awarding of rank. Age of the candidate will be considered at the time of admission for resolving the tie, the older candidate being provided preference. 
• Resolving Tie in Pharmacy Stream: In case of tie, the candidates who obtain the same aggregate marks are given the same rank and at the time of admission, age will be taken into consideration; the older candidate will be provided preference. 
• Resolving Tie in B.Sc. (with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects) Stream: In case of a tie in aggregate, the marks secured in the Mathematics subject and in case of further tie the candidates who get the same aggregate marks are provided the same rank and at the time of admission, age will be taken into consideration; the older candidate will be provided priority.

The AP ECET Counselling 2025 involves various stages. The first step involved in the counselling process is the online registration and payment of the AP ECET application fee. After successful payment, applicants must complete the document verification process and web options entry online. For AP ECET counselling, the following actions must be taken - 

• Candidates must pay the processing fee and have their documents verified during AP ECET 2025 counselling. Candidates will be required to input a few details. The processing cost for OC/BC candidates is Rs. 1200, while SC/ST candidates must pay Rs. 600.

• Following verification, candidates must log in and select their preferred colleges and courses.

• Seats will be distributed online. Candidates will be assigned seats based on their merit, category, preferences, and the availability of seats. The allotment order will be available via 'Candidate Login'.

• The remaining fees must be paid at the appointed institute by the candidates who have been assigned.

The qualifying percentage marks for securing a rank in the AP ECET 2025 exam is 25% of the aggregate marks in the four subjects (three subjects for B.Sc. Mathematics) i.e., 50 marks out of a total of 200. However, in case of the SC/ST candidates, there shall be no minimum qualifying marks for ranking the candidates. The rank secured with the benefit of relaxation of the minimum qualifying marks in  AP ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects)]-2025 by any candidate claiming to belong to the SC/ST category will be cancelled in case the claim is found to be invalid at the time of admission.
