PUTHAT Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria of PUTHAT 2022 exam is as prescribed by Panjab University in the PUTHAT 2022 syllabus. All candidates who want to apply to BHMCT and BTTM programs of Panjab University have to first ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria to apply for PUTHAT 2022 exam. The PUTHAT 2022 eligibility criteria include the minimum educational qualification of a candidate to be considered a valid contender for the exam. Candidates must also satisfy the minimum percentage criteria for PUTHAT as specified by Panjab University.

Candidates aspiring to apply for the PUTHAT exam can check the details regarding the eligibility criteria given below.

  • Candidate must have passed the 10 + 2 / Class 12th / Intermediate examinations or equivalent.
    Candidates who are appearing in the 10 + 2 exams are also eligible to apply for PUTHAT 2020.

  • Candidate must have received at least 50% aggregate marks (45 % for SC / ST / BC / PwD candidates) in the qualifying exam.

  • Candidate must have studied English as a compulsory subject in the qualifying exam.

  • The qualifying examination must have been conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or equivalent.

Panjab University has also specified that a candidate's eligibility will be considered to be provisional at every stage of the PUTHAT admission process. If any discrepancy is found in the eligibility of a candidate, the university may cancel a candidate's admission at any point in the process.

Who is not eligible for PUTHAT 2022

Candidates who meet any of the following conditions will not be considered eligible for PUTHAT 2022.

  • Candidates who fail to meet any condition of the PUTHAT eligibility criteria.

  • Candidates who have passed or are appearing in the 10 + 2 examinations conducted by Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad.
  • Examinations conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi are not considered valid.
