How to Access Rajasthan PTET 2024 Result

The candidates can access their Rajasthan PTET 2024 results from the official website with the help of the steps mentioned below -

• Students will be able to check their results of Rajasthan PTET 2024, once launched, with the direct link to download the result. The link will be provided above once launched by the conducting authority before declaring the results.
• Aspirants can choose to either click on the link that says "2-year B.Ed programme" or the link that says "4-year integrated B.Ed programme."
• Once they open the official result link, they will have to enter the details asked and click the "Proceed" button.
• The result will be displayed on the screen if the correct details are provided by the applicant.
• Make sure to keep a copy of the results and the mark sheet for future reference.

• All candidates' results will be available on the Rajasthan PTET website.
• The official website will also include information about their selection status for admission to the B.Ed Course.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Tie Breaker Policy

For two or more candidates securing the same marks in the Rajasthan PTET 2024 exam, the officials deploy a tie-breaker policy to determine the position of such candidates in the Rajasthan PTET 2024 merit list - 

• Higher merit is given to that candidate who has secured a higher aggregate in the qualifying examination, or,

• Higher merit is given to that candidate who is older in age

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Merit List

The merit list of qualified candidates will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidate following the Rajasthan PTET 2024 admission rules. Rajasthan PTET 2024 Reservation Criteria

The Rajasthan Government has set aside a set number of seats for each district based on the district’s population. However, if such candidates are unavailable during counselling, these seats are filled from the overall general merit list. 

Candidates from other states who are not genuine residents of Rajasthan will be treated only in the General Category during the merit list preparation and selection process. As per the Government guidelines, the OBC category will get 21% of the seats, while the SC will get 16%.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Counseling

The Rajasthan PTET 2024 authorities will assign the aspirants the teacher education colleges through online counselling. The Rajasthan PTET 2024 counselling schedule will be published in Rajasthan's leading newspapers and on the Rajasthan PTET 2024 websites, along with instructions for participating in online counselling.

Candidates who do not complete online counselling or refuse to accept the allotted college will lose their Rajasthan PTET 2024 merit position and will not be considered for admission to the B.Ed course. 

How is the Rajasthan PTET 2024 Result Calculated?

The conducting body follows the steps outlined below when preparing the Rajasthan PTET 2024 Result.

Marks Calculation

When preparing a candidate's final score, the conducting body keeps in mind the marking scheme and adheres to it. There are overall 200 questions. Every correct answer receives 3 points, while every incorrect answer receives 0 points. There will be no deduction for unattempted answers. The same result calculation method will be applicable for both the 2-year B.Ed course and the 4-year Integrated B.Ed courses - BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed.

Preparation of Rajasthan PTET Merit List

Candidates will be assigned a rank based on their performance in the Rajasthan PTET 2024. The merit list will provide important information such as rank, aspirant name, and admit card number. 

Rescanning Answer Sheet

Students can apply rescanning of the answer sheet by submitting an online application within 10 days of the result announcement for a fee of Rs. 150/- (approx). No application received after the deadline will be considered, regardless of the reason.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Counselling

The Teacher Education Institutions will be assigned through counselling. The schedule of the counselling programme will be published in Rajasthan's leading newspapers and made available on the Rajasthan PTET website along with instructions for participating in Online Counselling. 

Candidates are required to follow the same. Exam-takers are recommended to keep in touch with Rajasthan's leading newspapers and the Rajasthan PTET website before and after the announcement of their Rajasthan PTET results. Candidates who pass the exam must then appear in the Rajasthan PTET counselling round.

The following steps are included in the PTET 2024 counselling process:

• Creating an account on the official website
• Payment of INR 5,000 (approximate) registration fee via credit/debit card or bank challan
• Qualifying candidates are sent invitation letters.
• Candidates are assigned seats in their respective courses and colleges based on merit during the counselling process.
• Candidates must complete the remaining admission requirements.

Here are some of the crucial points regarding the Rajasthan PTET 2024 result and counselling - 

• Candidates who do not participate in counselling or refuse to accept the allotted college through counselling will lose their Rajasthan PTET merit position and will not be considered for enrollment to the B.Ed course. 
• All admissions to the B.Ed programme will be made through the Rajasthan PTET 2024.
• Aspirants will not have the choice of filling seats at the Institutional (College) level. The authorities will assign the seats.
• A candidate will be assigned a Teacher Education Institution / College in the State through online counselling based on their merit, as determined by their faculty, category, teaching subjects, choice of college filled, and so on, and not based on their District/place of residence or any other criteria or rules other than those specified.
• There may be an option of the upward trend in college priority. Candidates may apply for this facility online only after reporting to the college assigned to them. 
• If the candidate is placed first on the merit list, they must report to the new college.
• If applicants do not qualify the criteria for the required upward movement their admission will remain in the previously reported college, and no fee will be refunded.
• At the time of counselling, students may require their Rajasthan PTET 2024 admit card.
