RIE CEE 2024 Result (Level 2 Out)

RIE CEE results 2024 for Level 2 (B.Ed, M.Ed, and B.Ed-M.Ed) was announced on August 14, 2024. Aspirants can access their RIE CEE 2024 result card by logging into the candidate portal.

Meanwhile, for Level 1 (B.Sc.B.Ed/ B.A.B.Ed/ M.Sc.Ed courses), the results were declared on July 13, 2024. Candidates who clear RIE CEE are eligible for the RIE CEE counselling process. The candidates who have appeared for RIE CEE 2024 can follow the given below steps to download the result:

• Visit the official website or click on the direct link given above.
• On the Homepage, find the link to download RIE CEE 2024 result and click on the link given.
• Log in to the portal using the application ID, date of birth, and the login password.
• After entering the credentials,  click on the submit button.
• The result for the entered application ID will be flashed on the screen. Download and keep the PDF format of the results for reference.

RIE CEE 2024 Criteria for Calculating Scores

The criteria used by RIEs for the selection method are listed below -

• 60% from the entrance examination and 40% from the aggregate score definitions for BA B.Ed, B.Sc B.Ed, M.Sc Ed/ B.Ed/ M.Ed.
• The aggregate scores will be calculated using separate definitions for B.Sc B.Ed and M.Sc Ed, BA B.Ed, B.Ed, and M.Ed. 
• In the event of a tie, the Teaching Aptitude Test scores will be used to determine the winner. If the tie-breaker condition persists, the decision will be based on age.
• The merit list will only take into account three numbers following the decimal, rounded off.
• Candidates who passed the qualifying exam within the last two years and/ or are appearing in 2024, can apply for B.Sc B.Ed / BA B.Ed / M.Sc Ed. There is no age boundary to apply for B.Ed and M.Ed programmes.

RIE CEE 2024 Score Card

• RIE CEE scorecard 2024 includes the overall marks earned by the candidate and the rank (All India Rank).
• RIE CEE scorecards are required, and candidates must bring them to RIE CEE counselling.
• It should be remembered that the RIE CEE scorecard 2024 will only be valid for one year.
• The RIE CEE 2024 score card will have the name of the candidate, Father's Name, Roll Number, Application Number, AILET score, All India Rank (AIR), and Category Rank.

Aggregate Score Definition for RIE CEE 2024 Exam

According to the official website, the below-mentioned points are the correct interpretations for the programme scores. The total will be calculated as follows - 

• The marks obtained in PCM or PCB combination out of the maximum PCM/ PCB marks in the qualifying examination for B.Sc B.Ed and M.Sc.Ed
• The BA B.Ed aggregate score will be decided on total qualifying examination scores obtained out of a possible maximum qualifying examination score.
• The B.Ed aggregate score will be represented as received total marks of the qualifying degree examination out of the possible maximum marks in the qualifying degree examination.
• For B.Ed M.Ed (integrated), it will be calculated as the received total in the qualifying postgraduate examination marks out of a possible maximum qualifying postgraduate examination total.
• For M.Ed, acquired total qualifying examination marks out of a possible maximum qualifying examination marks.
• If the qualifying examination is B.Sc.Ed./ B.Sc.B.Ed/ B.A.Ed/ B.A.B.Ed, only the acquired total marks of professional sections out of the maximum marks in these aspects are considered.

RIE CEE 2024 Merit List

Following the announcement of the results, the conducting authority will post the Merit List on the official website, and the RIE CEE 2024 seat allotment will be done on that basis. The merit list is assembled based on the candidate's performance in the admission exams. 

The Merit List contains only the names of the qualifying aspirants. Such applicants are then invited to participate in the Counselling process. Scholarships will be awarded to candidates based on the Merit List established by the authorities for admissions.

RIE CEE 2024 Selection Process and Tie-Breaker Policy

Candidates can learn more about the admissions procedure at RIE by reading the following:

• The RIE CEE admission score will be given 60% weightage, with the Qualifying Examination marks receiving 40% weightage.
• The authority generally resolves Tie-breaker situations based on the score of the Teaching Aptitude Test, and if the Tie remains, it is decided based on age.
• The Institute Seat Matrix is used to determine future admissions.

RIE CEE 2024 Counselling

Once the RIE CEE 2024 results are announced, the authority will begin the RIE CEE 2024 counselling process at the various RIEs. Only qualifying individuals will be invited to participate in the counselling process. 

Candidates can find all the information about counselling on the official website. Through the counselling procedure, candidates are admitted to the given seats in the individual courses. Selected candidates must attend the counselling session on the designated date with all needed documents and certificates adequately verified. Only those who appear in counselling will be considered for further admission.

RIE CEE 2024 Reservation

Aspirants belonging to particular categories are admitted to seats allotted for them under Government of India laws based on specific reservation criteria. SC applicants will have 15%, while the ST will have 7.5%. Students from the OBC category will get 27%, the PWD 5%, and the EWS 5%.

Candidates applying under reservation quotas will only be accepted based on the lists released by the Indian Government and the category certificate/ PwD certificate in the pattern approved by the GOI and issued by the relevant authority. OBC applicants must submit a certificate from an authorised body declaring that they do not adhere to the Creamy Layer.
