Here are the major steps of the RIE CEE counselling process -
Rank List Generation
The rank list will be released for those candidates who are eligible and have uploaded the qualifying marks and submitted them to the individual RIEs. The candidates must update the marks of the qualifying examination, as, without the same, the CEE ranks will not be generated. Additionally, if the aspirants provide incomplete or wrong marks they will disqualified at the time of admission. Hence make sure to add correct marks in the portal as per the schedule.
Selection List and Waiting List Release
The individual RIEs will create a selected candidates list and waiting candidates list, by considering the number of vacant seats, reservation policies, and State / UT quota. These lists will be available on the websites of the RIEs and will be revealed to the chosen candidates so that they can participate in the counselling process.
Please note that, if the marks entered in the RIE CEE portal and the marks on the original marks card do not match, then the aspirant will lose their candidature and the individual next to them in the wait list will be called for RIE CEE counselling.
Seat Allotment, College Reporting and Document Verification
Candidates will have to report to the specified institute as per the dates. They must carry the documents asked in their original form as well as a photocopy of the same. At the reporting centre, the officials will verify the original documents. After successful verification, the aspirants will be allocated a seat. Please note that, if the aspirants fail to furnish the essential documents during the counselling, then their provisional admission will be cancelled.
Admission Fee Payment to RIEs
After receiving allotment, the candidate is required to pay the admission fee to the particular RIE, within the deadline to confirm their seat. Candidates must pay the admission fee/ course fee per the payment method suggested by the authorities and must keep a copy of the fee receipt with them for further reference.

Yes, if the candidate accepts the seat allocation offer, then it is mandatory to report to the specified institute during the RIE CEE 2024 counselling.
Class Xth Certificate, Class XIIth Certificate, Migration Certificate, Caste Certificate, Residence Proof, Aaadhar Card, Recent Passport-Sized Photographs, Character Certificate issued by the institution which the candidate last attended, RIE CEE application form printout and RIE CEE Rank Card are some of the essential for the RIE CEE 2024 counselling.
After the seat allocation is declared during the RIE CEE counselling process, the candidates must report to the allocated RIE within the dates prescribed. During the reporting process, document verification will be done by the authorities and the aspirants will have to pay the admission fee within the deadline to confirm their admission.
If the marks submitted in the RIE CEE portal and the scores on the original marks card do not match, then the candidates will lose their claim on the allotted seat and the aspirant next in the wait list will be invited for RIE CEE 2024 counselling.
The selection list released during the RIE CEE counselling is released by the RIEs based on the seats available, the reservation category policies, and the State/ UT quota. These lists will be announced on the official portal of the RIEs and candidates who make it to the list will be called for the counselling.
The RIE CEE rank list is published for those aspirants who have qualified the RIE CEE and simultaneously uploaded the last relevant examination’s qualifying marks such as the 10 + 2 or graduation to the RIEs, where they wish to seek admission. Without the scores of the last qualifying degree, the RIE CEE ranks will not be disclosed.
RIE CEE counselling may be conducted in multiple rounds depending on the number of seats available. The details will be revealed once the notification for the counselling is out.
RIE CEE 2024 counselling is significant as it is the method by which aspirants are chosen for the offered courses at the RIEs.
