RULET Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the qualifying requirements to apply for RULET. The following are the eligibility requirements for RULET:
Qualification: Candidates who complete or are taking the qualifying examination for Class 12 or equivalent from the Rajasthan Board or any other national or state board of education are eligible to apply.
Marks in qualifying exam: Applicants must have obtained 50% in Class 12th if they are Rajasthan residents and have passed the state education board examination. If they are a member of the state's SC / ST category, their lowest qualifying marks are 45%.
Applicants from other states must have earned at least 60% in their Class 12th test to be considered for admission. According to the Bar Council of India (BCI), there is no higher or lower age limit for admission to five-year integrated legal programmes.
RULET 2025 Syllabus
The questions in RULET are based on the University of Rajasthan's RULET syllabus. The RULET 2025 syllabus is as follows:
English Language - English Reading, Understanding Tenses, Coordination and Subordination, Phrasal Verbs and Idioms,, Articles and Determiners, etc., Active and passive voice, direct and indirect speech, synonyms and antonyms, and modal expressions of many ideas (Obligation, Prohibition, Intention, Request, Permission, Condition, Purpose, Reason, Probability, Possibility, Companions, Contrast).
Legal Reasoning - Latin maxims, legal terms, the Indian Constitution and its development, and the fundamental law study
Current Affairs, General Knowledge - Current events/ affairs of national and international importance, Indian history, Science and Technology & Social Science, Historical events of significance, Rajasthan arts and culture
Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning - Applying 10th-standard mathematical operations to such data, fundamental algebra, profit and loss, time and work, speed, average, including ratios and proportions, distance, and ratio and proportion. Logical Reasoning includes concepts like Alphanumeric Series, Coding-Decoding, Odd One Out, Picture Series and Sequences, Reasoning Analogies, Blood Relations, Pattern Series and Sequences, Statements and Assumptions, Seating Arrangements, and Syllogism.
RULET Exam Pattern

- 300 marks total
- 2 points for each question

RULET Application Form
The RULET 2025 application form will be only available online. Candidates must complete the entire application process in the way listed below -
Register for the exam: During registration, the candidate must upload a photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression if asked. Once done, they must enter the particulars in the application form such as name, address, educational details etc.
Payment of the online application charges: Following the exam registration and form filling, the applicant must pay the necessary admission fee online via the prescribed Bank UPI / payment channel.
Print: Take a hard copy of the receipt and the completed application form for counselling and personal reference. The hard copy / print out of the RULET application form is not mandatory to be sent by the applicants.
Application fee for RULET 2025: All candidates must pay an application fee of approximately Rs 2,000.
RULET Admissions Process
The RULET admission procedure is as follows:
- Students must fill out the RULET application form.
- Next they must download the RULET admit card.
- Appear for the RULET exam on the specified date and time.
- Download the RULET results on the result date.
- If qualified in the RULET, they must attend personal interviews and group discussions.
- Review the merit list based on RULET 2025, personal interviews, and group discussions.
- If the applicant’s name appears on the merit list, they are allowed to attend RULET 2025 counselling.
RULET Preparation Tips
Here are some pointers to help the aspirants prepare for the RULET exam -
Reading skills - Aspirants should work on boosting reading speed and comprehension by reading newspapers, novels, and blogs.
Take use of books - There are several books written by renowned authors that will teach them crucial test tips and tactics as well as help them understand tough concepts from the syllabus.
Practise mock tests - It is recommended that the students refer to past years' papers for RULET as well as the many mock tests accessible online that are similar to the law entrance exam to prepare for and get an idea of the real-time exam. They should practise the papers as often as possible to achieve a high score.
Notes for revision - Because the applicants will be preoccupied with a variety of things throughout exam preparation, it is best to take notes continuously. It will be useful for both the GK and the Legal Reasoning sections.
RULET Admit Card
Candidates who register for the exam by the deadline receive their RULET admit card online. Candidates must download their admit cards exclusively from the official website. Admit cards are not mailed to the candidates.
Candidates can access the admit card by entering their RULET application form number, general information, or cellphone number.
Applicants are only permitted to enter the exam location if they have a hard copy of the RULET admit card. The admit card includes the candidates' information, exam information, and the name and address of the test centre.
RULET Answer Key
After the exam, the RULET answer key is posted on the official website. The RULET answer key is accessible in PDF format. It contains the correct answers to all exam questions for all sets of question papers. Candidates can compare the answers they marked in the exam to those in the key.
The RULET answer key is now available for download. The applicant must provide the objection form within the deadline to challenge the answer key. Objections to the answer key shall be directed to the Convener, RULET, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
RULET Result
The RULET results are posted on the official website. Candidates can view their results by logging in using their RULET roll number, mother's name, and birth date. Candidates who pass the RULET must subsequently attend the PI and GD as scheduled. The ultimate seat allocation will be done on the grounds of the RULET merit list. The merit list is based on the entrance exam and personal interview performance.
RULET Merit List
UNIRAJ releases the RULET merit list for each category and a counselling schedule based on which candidates are admitted to courses offered at various colleges. The merit list is compiled based on the candidates' performance in RULET 2025, GD, and PI.

If more than two candidates have the same position in the merit list, the institution selects candidates with higher class 12th marks to decide the tiebreaker.
RULET Counselling
Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test (RULET) counselling is held by the University of Rajasthan (UNIRAJ). RULET counselling takes place offline and is solely based on the merit list, which the university creates based on the results of entrance exams and personal interviews.
Aspirants from their categories must come for RULET counselling on the dates and times specified. If candidates do not arrive at the counselling location on time, they will not be offered a second chance.
Furthermore, applicants must provide the appropriate documents, which include the application form, RULET scorecard, and academic documents. All documents must be originals as well as photocopies. Aspirants attending RULET counselling should bring the admission fees as well as Rs 100 (approximate) as the admission form fee.
