The cutoff is the minimum mark a candidate requires to qualify for the exam and get shortlisted for eligible for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship in Indian universities.

UGC NET Cutoff 2023

The UGC NET cutoff 2023 for the Unreserved category for the June session was 188 for Economics, 99.67 for Political Science, 216 for Philosophy, and so on and so forth. The same is distinct for every subject and category for JRF and Assistant Professor. The cutoff was announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on January 19, 2024, along with the UGC NET results. The cutoff was released for both the Assistant Professor and JRF & Assistant Professor positions together for both the June and December sessions. The same was again divided into subjects and categories like General, SC/ST/PwD/OBC-NCL/General EWS.
