Once the WB ANM GNM 2024 result is out, there will be chances where the two or more candidates have scored the same marks and have entered into a tie. In such cases there are special WB ANM GNM tie-breaking criteria such as:
Aspirants with less negative marks in total will be given preference
If the tie still persists, then candidates with more positive marks in Life Sc. will be given preference
If the tie still persists, then candidates with more positive marks in Physical Sc. will be given preference
If the tie still persists, then candidates with more positive marks in English will be given preference
If the tie still persists, then candidates with more positive marks in Mathematics will be given preference
If the tie still persists, then candidates with more positive marks in General Knowledge will be given preference
If the tie still persists, then candidates with more positive marks in logical reasoning will be given preference
If the tie continues to exist, then candidates with more positive marks in Life Sc. and Physical Sc. together will be given preference
If the tie continues to exist, then candidates with more positive marks in Life Sc., Physical Sc. and English taken together will be given preference
If the tie continues to exist, then candidates with more positive marks in Life Sc., Physical Sc., Mathematics, and English taken together will be given preference
If the tie continues to exist, then candidates with more positive marks in Life Sc., Physical Sc., Mathematics, General Knowledge, and English taken together will be given preference
If the tie continues to exist, then candidates with more positive marks in Life Sc., Physical Sc., Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and English taken together will be given preference
In case the tie doesn’t break, then aspirants with less negative marks in Life Sc. and Physical Sc. together will be given preference
In case the tie doesn’t break, then aspirants with less negative marks in Life Sc., English, and Physical Sc. together will be given preference
In case the tie doesn’t break, then aspirants with less negative marks in Life Sc., English, Mathematics, and Physical Sc. together will be given preference
In case the tie doesn’t break, then aspirants with less negative marks in Life Sc., English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Physical Sc. together will be given preference
In case the tie doesn’t break, then aspirants with less negative marks in Life Sc., English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, and Physical Sc. together will be given preference
If a tie exists still thereafter, aspirants who are older in terms of date of birth (DOB) will be given preference over the younger ones
