How to Apply for WB JEHOM 2021

The WB JEHOM exam is conducted online by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB). Candidates who wish to take admission into any of the institutes in West Bengal for an undergraduate course of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT) will have to fill the WB JEHOM 2021 application form available in online mode before the deadline of the exam. Candidates may visit the official website of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) to fill the application form online.

Only applicants who will satisfy all the conditions decided by the board may apply for the WB JEHOM 2021 entrance exam. While filling the WB JEHOM 2021 application form, applicants need to enter the details including PwD status, family income status, nationality, religion and category. Applicants also need to attach the photographs and images of the required size or else they will not be issued the admit card. Apart from this, candidates also need to attach the scanned copies of the required documents as proof of provided information. Finally, after filling all the details, applicants will have to submit the form after checking all the details mentioned in the application form. The application fee decided by the board for this exam is INR 500 which the applicants need to submit while filling the application form as mentioned in how to apply.

Step by Step Process to Apply for WB JEHOM 2021

The procedure to fill the WB JEHOM 2021 application form is mentioned below, candidates may check the application process while filling the WB JEHOM 2021 application form:

Registration

Visit the official website of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB).

  • Click on the “Apply now” button mentioned in the WB JEHOM section.

  • Candidates will then have to enter all the required details including candidate name, father's name, residential address, state, PIN, mobile number, alternate mobile number, email address, nationality e.t.c.

  • Choose the password and security question/ answer.

  • Submit the application form after checking all the details provided.

  • An application number will appear on the page including SMS / E-mail on mobile.

Note:

Candidates must remember the Password, Application number and  Security question answer. If the candidates forget the Password they will have to create the Password again after clicking on the “Forgot Password”.

  • Proceed to image uploading.

One of the methods to create the image matching the specifications as mentioned above are listed below:

  • Take a photograph having dimensions 3cm * 4cm.

  • Scan it at 300 dpi.

  • Crop the scanned copy to the size of the photograph.

  • Resize the image to “Email small”.

  • Save the image.

Points to remember while uploading the images.

  • Candidates need to attach a recent photograph of them.

  • Low-quality images may be rejected so upload only good quality images.

  • The background of the image must be light.

  • The face of the candidate must cover 50% of the entire space straight looking to the camera.

  • A photograph will also be required while entering into the examination centre for counselling and other admission rounds.

WB JEHOM 2021 Application Fee and Fee Payment

  • After submitting the form, the candidate will be redirected to the payment page.

  • Candidates have to submit the application fee of INR 500 /- as decided by the conducting body.

  • Candidates may select any mode for payment such as net banking/ Credit card or Debit card to submit the fee.

  Note: 

  •   The application fee is INR 500 excluding bank service charge.

  •   The fee once paid will not be refunded.

Important Instructions about WB JEHOM Application Form 2021

Candidates must keep the following important instructions in mind while filling the application form for the WB JEHOM 2021 exam.

  • Applicants need to take the print out of the WB JEHOM 2021 confirmation page.

  • The confirmation page will not be regenerated so it must be kept safe.

  • If any candidate wants to get a duplicate confirmation page, he/ she need to apply to the board after submitting the processing fee of INR 500 by a bank draft name of “ West Bengal joint Entrance Examination Board”.

Yes, you can apply for WB JEHOM 2020. However, you will have to submit your 12th mark sheet before the date decided by the college. You should also note that you should be at least 17 years in order to apply for WB JEHOM 2020. You can check the counselling dates from the official website of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB).
