WBJEE Application Form 2025

WBJEE 2025 application form correction facility is opened after the registration process is done. Candidates had to follow the below-mentioned steps to successfully fill out the WBJEE application form 2025

Step 1: Visit the WBJEE official website at wbjeeb.nic.in

Step 2: Select the 'New Registration' option.

Step 3: Enter information such as your name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, gender, kind of identification, mail ID and phone number.

Step 4: Enter any further contact information (address, district, state, PIN code, email ID, mobile number, etc.)

Step 5: Create a password and answer a security question.

Examine the information entered during WBJEE registration and then click 'Submit.'

Step 6: Candidates who successfully register for WBJEE 2025 will obtain an application number through email and mobile phone.

WBJEE Syllabus 2025

WBJEE syllabus 2025 was released along with the information brochure at wbjeeb.nic.in. The syllabus for WBJEE includes topics from 11th and 12th standard Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates must have a complete grasp of the syllabus to mark the important sections they need to prepare for the exam. At the same time, complete awareness of the WBJEE syllabus 2025 also helps candidates to know the topics from where most questions are asked by analyzing the previous year's question papers.

WBJEE Admit Card 2025

The WBJEE admit card 2025 will be available only in online mode at the official website of WBJEEB - wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates need to log in to the WBJEE official website using their registration number and password etc. to download the WBJEE hall ticket 2025. They are advised to check all the details and take a printout of the WBJEE 2025 admit card well in advance to avoid any discrepancies.

The WBJEE 2025 hall ticket includes details like the name of the candidate, roll number, exam centre details, exam timings, exam date and other important exam day information. Candidates are required to carry a valid ID proof along with their WBJEE 2025 admit card to the exam centre. Without the admit card, students are not allowed to enter the exam hall. In case of any discrepancy in the WBJEE 2025 hall ticket, the applicant could contact WBJEEB at their respective helpline number or mail ID. 

Important Instructions for WBJEE 2025 Exam Day

Before appearing for the examination, candidates must remember and follow some important instructions listed by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board:

  1. Candidates must arrive at the allotted WBJEE exam centres 2025 at least 30 minutes before the scheduled exam time.

  2. Candidates must be familiar with the test centre location and means of transportation to avoid last-minute inconvenience. 

  3. Candidates must only report to the exam centre allotted to them in the WBJEE admit card 2025. Any candidate appearing from a centre other than the one allotted to him/her shall not be permitted to take the exam. 

  4. Candidates must positively bring a printed copy of the WBJEE 2025 admit card along with a copy of a coloured passport-size photograph and an original ID proof like PAN card/Aadhaar card/Passport/School ID card/10th Class admit card etc. They must ensure that the photograph printed on the admit card matches the one uploaded in the WBJEE applciation form 2025. 

  5. Candidates should be seated at least 15 minutes before the exam starts.

  6. Candidates will NOT be allowed to enter the test centre once the examination starts under any circumstances. 

  7. Candidates must not carry any printed or written materials, calculators, pens, wristwatches/Smartwatch, log tables, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices etc. inside the exam hall.

  8. Any candidate found in possession of the prohibited items will be reported against and his/her candidature will be cancelled immediately.

  9. Candidates must verify the OMR number and the question booklet number once they are handed the OMR sheet. In case of any discrepancy, they must inform the invigilator and get the whole set replaced. 

  10. Candidates must sign the top of the question booklet. 

  11. Candidates must carefully read the instructions on the OMR sheet and the cover page of the question booklet.

  12. Candidates must mention their roll number and the question booklet number in the designated spaces on the OMR sheet. If the question booklet number or roll number is written incorrectly, the candidates' OMR sheet may be rejected.

  13. In case of a mistake, candidates must not overwrite the OMR. They should inform the invigilator of the same and request him/her to strike out and rewrite the correct numbers and sign the sheet. 

  14. Candidates must darken the appropriate circle of the question booklet number, question booklet series, and roll number.

  15. Candidates must write their names in BLOCK letters. The name of the test centre and the candidate’s signature must be written correctly in the designated space on the OMR sheet. 

  16. Candidates must not enter stray marks anywhere on the sheet as it may lead to rejection of the OMR.

  17. Candidates must crosscheck that their name is spelt correctly and that their photograph and roll number in the attendance sheet match with the one printed on the admit card. If they find any inconsistencies, they must report it to the invigilator immediately.

  18. Candidates must open the question booklets only at the time of commencement of the exam when announced by the invigilator. In case of any damage or missing pages in the question booklet, candidates must request the invigilator to replace the whole set from the same series.

  19. Candidates must maintain silence during the exam. They must abstain from adopting any unfair means. In the event of such cases, his/her candidature shall be cancelled and he/she will be barred from taking the exam permanently or temporarily as is deemed fit by the  Centre-in-Charge.

  20. Candidates must not engage in any discussion with the invigilator regarding any question.

  21. Candidates should do rough work only in the space provided in the question booklet.

  22. Candidates are not allowed to leave their seats without the invigilator's permission until the test is over. They must submit the OMR sheet to the invigilator once the exam concludes. Candidates will be permitted to leave the exam hall only after all the OMR sheets have been collected and tallied by the invigilator. 

  23. Candidates are allowed to take his/her question booklet after the exam.

  24. If a person is caught impersonating, he/she will be handed over to the police, and the candidature of the original candidate will be cancelled outright.

WBJEE 2025 Result- Tie-Breaking Policy

If two or more aspirants receive the same scores, authorities will use the tie-breaking mechanism to assign ranks. Check out the WBJEE 2025 tie-breaking process below.

  • The applicant with fewer bad scores in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry is granted a better ranking.
  • If the tie remains, the applicant with the highest scores in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry is granted a higher rank.
  • If the tie persists, individuals with superior scores in Mathematics and Chemistry will be granted a higher ranking.
  • If the tie is not broken, the applicants with the fewest negative scores in Mathematics and Physics will be granted a higher ranking.
  • If a tie still persists, individuals with lower negative grades in Mathematics and Chemistry will be given a higher position.
  • If the authorities are still unable to break the tie, the applicants who received more positive scores in Mathematics for only the two-mark problems will be granted a better ranking.
  • If the tie still holds, the candidates with the highest positive marks in Physics for only the two-mark problems will be given a higher position.
  • If the tie remains, candidates who receive more positive scores in Chemistry for only the two-mark problems will be granted a better rank.
  • If the tie is not broken, the candidates with the fewest negative scores in Mathematics for only the two-mark problems will be ranked higher.
  • If the tie is still not resolved, applicants with fewer negative scores in Physics for only the two-mark problems will be given a better ranking.
  • If the tie remains, the candidates who received fewer negative marks in Chemistry for only the 2-mark problems will be granted a higher position.
  • If all of the preceding methods fail, the applicants will be assigned a rank based on age. Older applicants will be given precedence for admission.

WBJEE 2025 Counselling Process

The WBJEE counselling process of WBJEE includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, etc.There will be various rounds of counselling through which candidates will be granted seats in the West Bengal participating colleges. Candidates who pass the West Bengal JEE 2025 or have a valid JEE Main score is eligible for counselling. Candidates who are assigned seats must report to the designated reporting centres within the given time-frame for document verification.
