Candidates are eligible to register for XIC OET if they meet the requirements mentioned below:

• They are 35 years or below in age.

• They have completed 3 years of Graduation (12+3 years) in a University approved stream in India : (Arts, Commerce, Science, Computers, BMM, BMS, BE, Catering, etc.)

• They are appearing for their last semester or Third year Graduation in the present Academic year.

In this last case, to be selected for the XIC Course of their choice, and successfully complete it in keeping with the academic, attendance and other standards laid down by XIC, the Diploma will be awarded only on completion of their graduation and on submission of the relevant attested Final mark-sheet of their graduation.

XIC OET 2025 Registration Process has been described as follows:

1. Go to the XIC website www.xaviercomm.org and click on REGISTER. 

2. The candidates had to enter the following details: 

• Name

• Mobile Number

• Email ID

• Course Interested In

• Captcha Number 

3. After submitting the details, candidates received a login ID and password which they had to use to log in, in order to avail the XIC OET application forms.

4. Payments can be made by using your Bank Debit/ Credit Cards / Net banking / UPI.

5. Provide your Statement of Purpose (SOP). If you qualify for the Personal Interview stage, it could be brought up for discussion. Hence, please give sufficient thought while putting your SOP together.

6. Now you can proceed and complete the payment procedure.

7. Select your preferred OET date and personal interview center.

8. Failure to upload your scanned photograph or provide proper details, will not allow you to proceed further.

9. On completion of your Registration, please note down your Application Number.

10. Your XIC OET 2025 Admit Card will be sent to you later on the E-mail ID mentioned in your Registration form.

11. Finally, preserve your admit card carefully. Only this document will be accepted in all further transactions between you and XIC.

XIC OET 2025 Application Form is now available. Applicants wishing to get admission to PG courses from the Xavier Institute of Communications can apply in XIC OET by filling out the application form with correct and complete details. Students can download the application form through online mode only. It cannot be obtained through any other offline mode. Students who have successfully completed and submitted the application form can appear for the entrance test. Students can fill out the XIC OET Application Form 2025 following the steps mentioned below.

• Go to the official webpage of the Xavier Institute of Communications.

• Click on the link of the exam and select the course 

• Fill out the application form with all the correct and complete details such as the candidate’s name, address, phone, email ID, and other educational qualification details.

• Indicate any employment experience in the media field in this area of the XIC OET application form 2025 (if applicable).

• Upload their scanned copy of the photo and signature on the application form and submit it.

• Pay the application fee of INR 3,500 including 14% service tax. It can be paid through online mode using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.

• After that, applicants have to download and take the printout of the application for further use.

XIC OET Admit Card 2025 will be issued to the applicants in the month of April. Students who will submit their application form successfully, they will get the admit card on their registered email id. You must take your Admit Cards along to the examination center without which they might be debarred.

XIC OET Exam pattern for 2025 is mentioned below:

• Mode of exam: The exam is computer-based, and is carried out in online mode

• Sections: The paper comprises two Sections- Subjective Section, and Objective section

• Maximum Marks: 100 marks

• Time / Duration: 60 minutes/1 hour

• Sections in Paper: 2 (Objective and Subjective)

The Xavier Institute of Communication does not specify any detailed syllabus for XIC OET 2025 entrance test. Candidates have to go through the below-mentioned topics to perform well in the XIC OET Exam 2025:

• Language Skills: In this section candidates' language ability will be tested from sections like Spellings, Singular, Plural, Synonyms, Antonyms, Idioms and Phrases, One Word Substitutes etc.

• General Knowledge and Knowledge of Media: In this section, candidate’s aptitude will be tested related to the general knowledge and current affairs awareness questions. It is imperative for the students to be updated with the Political, Social and Economic Happening of the country and abroad.

• Logical and Analytical Skills: In this section, students should be well-versed with topics like Series, Blood Relations, Directions, Critical Reasoning, Syllogism and Analogy.

Given below is the study plan that candidates can follow in order to ace XIC OET 2025:

• Solve XIC OET previous year’s sample papers and mock tests to understand the paper pattern, marking scheme, type of questions, difficulty level. 

• Set targets to complete the entire syllabus and to ensure proper revision too.

• Revise all the concepts to retain all the data well, and also learn them throughly. Constant revision would help to retain all the topics well. Note down the important points of each chapter on a set of placards, and color code them according to the difficulty level. These will help up the end moment revision, and save a lot of time.

• Read new articles every day, practise writing essays, read newspapers, last years’ question papers etc. to improve your writing skills for the subjective section. 

• Focus on your time management skills and improving speed of answering questions with high accuracy based on English and General Knowkedge.

XIC OET 2025 final result will be declared on May 05, 2025 (at approx 4 pm) on the official website of Xavier Institute of Communications. Students who will appear in XIC OET Exam 2025, can check their results in online mode by submitting the required details such as their registration number. The waiting list will be announced on May 20, 2025. Shortlisted students' names and reference numbers will appear on the merit list. In the next round of selection, these candidates will undergo a group discussion and an interview. You can pay the course fee by May 30, 2025 for selected candidates.

XIC OET 2025 counselling process will commence after the completion of interviews. The authorities will share a list of waitlist candidates who can take part in the counselling rounds. During the counselling round, eligible candidates must submit the required documents and pay an admission fee to accept allotted seats.
