AIBE Eligibility Criteria 2024

AIBE eligibility criteria must be known to the candidates seeking to apply for the examination. 

Some major pointers include:

  • They must be law graduates and have completed 3 year LLB or 5-year LLB or LLM from a recognised university or institution.
  • Applicants must have passed their law degree with a minimum of 45% (for General category) and 40% (for SC/ ST/ PWD).
  • They must have been enrolled with the State Bar Council as advocates. The applicants must have obtained their enrollment certificate or enrollment ID from the competent authority
  • There is no upper age bar to apply for AIBE.
  • Final year Law school students from a 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB course are eligible to apply for AIBE, provided they are studying at a BCI-approved institution or college or university. They must not have any backlogs from earlier semesters.
  • Law graduates who have completed their courses but have not yet received their degree are also qualified to apply. This includes those students also who have finished their law course and will be conferred their degree soon.
  • Graduates who have obtained their law degree but have not yet enrolled or may have surrendered their enrolment certificate at some other place of employment can also apply.

AIBE Application Form 2024

AIBE application form 2024 was released by the BCI as per the schedule. AIBE application last date to apply 2024 was November 22, 2024. To apply for AIBE, examinees have to visit the official website. Before filling out the application form, they have to register themselves. 

How to apply for AIBE 19 Application Form 2024?

Check out the below steps on how to apply for AIBE 19 application form 2024 -

Registration 

To register for AIBE, candidates have to hit the “Registration Link” button. Once the link opens, they have to click on “New User Registration”. They have to enter the details such as - Applicant Name, Mobile, Email, Password, Confirm Password and press the continue tab.

On the subsequent page, they have to type in the particulars such as enrolment state, enrollment number, category etc. After submitting the registration form, they have to verify their mobile number via OTP.

Fill out the AIBE Application Form

  • Candidate’s name, gender, father’s name/ husband’s name, permanent address, email address, cell phone number, test centre choices, test paper language from the available options, academic qualification such as 10th, 12th, graduation, LLB degree, Master’s degree etc.
  • In the next stage, they have to upload documents such as scanned photographs and signatures. The photo must be 100 px*150 px/200 KB max size, while the signature must be 50 px*150 px/200 KB max size and both should be in JPG/ JPEG format.
  • In the last part, the applicants have to pay the AIBE application fee/ registration via online mode or in cash.

  • There will be an overall 100 questions of 1 mark each and will be objective type.
  • Negative marking is not applicable in AIBE.

AIBE 2024 Preparation Tips

Follow the below AIBE 2024 preparation tips to excel in the examination - 

  • While preparing for AIBE, they must create a study routine and dedicate enough time to each subject. Topics which they find more challenging and which have more weightage must be allotted more time.
  • After covering the syllabus, they must solve AIBE previous year question papers, mock tests and sample papers. 
  • While preparing for a concept or topic, exam takers must create short notes or flashcards, etc., whatever helps them recall the same while revising.
  • They must keep track of the recent judgments and jot down the important points, as questions are more likely to come from landmark law cases of the last 1 or 2 years.

AIBE Admit Card 2024

AIBE admit card is launched per the exam calendar. Those who completed the application form are eligible to access their admit cards. The hall ticket will include information about the name of the applicants, roll number, name and address of the exam centre, exam date, timing, reporting time, and exam day guidelines.

To download the AIBE admit card, they have to visit the official site - allindiabarexamination.com and type in their AIBE 2024 registration ID and password. Once it is available on the screen, they have to take a printout of the same.

If there are any errors in the hall ticket, exam takers must reach out to the AIBE helpdesk and get the same corrected.

AIBE Answer Key 2024

AIBE answer key 2024 will likely be launched by the end of December 2024. Please note that initially, the provisional answer key will be furnished. After that, candidates can lodge objections against the same. The final answer key will be released after the objections are addressed by the authorities.

The results will be announced per the revised / final answer key of AIBE. The answer key will be provided per the question paper set/ code. Based on which question paper set they attempted, they could obtain the answer key PDF and calculate their probable scores by comparing them. Please note that AIBE does not have a negative marking system. Hence, to estimate their scores, examinees have to add +1 to the correct responses and eventually find out the total.

AIBE Results 2024

AIBE results 2024 date has not been issued yet. However, per the analysis of the past few years, the results may be launched within a few months after the examination. The results will be available online. Candidates have to visit the official website to check the AIBE 2024 results. Once the link is available, they have to log in to the AIBE account. 

After the page opens, they have to enter their roll number and birth date to view their results. They can download the same and take a printout if needed. AIBE results will display the qualifying status of the examinees.

AIBE Cutoff Marks 2024

AIBE cutoff marks will be issued after the results are announced. Those who obtain the AIBE cutoff or more will be granted the Certificate of Practice. Please note that the cutoff is different for the respective reservation categories.

In cases where discrepancies are found in the answer key, the total marks may be revised as some questions may be dropped. However, please note that the cutoff percentage will remain the same, and the total marks will depend upon how many questions have been rejected by the authorities. Depending on whether or not there are modifications in the overall mark, the AIBE passing marks will be decided accordingly. For instance, in AIBE 2023, the overall mark was 93 after some flaws were noticed in the official question paper and provisional answer key.

AIBE Exam Day Guidelines

Here are some AIBE exam day guidelines that the students must follow -

  • They must arrive at the AIBE exam centre according to the reporting time. 
  • They must start early for the exam venue so that they are not late to report.
  • Applicants must carry the exam essentials with them like hall tickets, identity cards etc.
  • They can bring BARE Acts with them inside the examination hall. However, they must take care not to bring any books, notes, PDF printouts etc.
  • They must not possess any electronic devices such as mobiles, tablets, laptops, smart watches etc inside the examination venue.
  • Students will not be allowed to leave the AIBE examination hall before the exam ends. Additionally, they must hand the answer sheet to the invigilator before leaving the hall.
  • They must enter their roll number on the AIBE answer sheet in the column allotted. 
  • Students must go through the guidelines mentioned on the admit card and also be notified by the exam officials and abide by them.
  • They should fill out the Question Booklet Set Code and Roll Number carefully and any other related information.
  • Candidates should refrain from any unfair means while taking the examination.
