Who Conducts the AIEED?

AIEED was launched and conducted by ARCH for the first time in 2010. Earlier known as ARCH Academy of Design, the AIEED is a national-level entrance exam for candidates seeking admission into various UG and PG courses in Design offered at the university. AIEED is acknowledged by IIT Delhi as a premium exam to test the creative abilities of the aspirants of higher education in Design. Some important features regarding the AIEED 2025 exam are briefly highlighted below in three parts:

Part 1: Portfolio of Abilities (PoA) and Statement of Purpose (SoP)

Once you have finished and submitted your AIEED application form for 2025, the following steps will be notified to your registered email address. A Portfolio of Abilities (PoA), where you may explain and show off your life story and what you intend to do in the future, must be documented and shared with the college. Additionally, you will need to write a Statement of Purpose (SoP), where you can describe why you are thinking of studying design.

  • Stage I: Psychological Endowments for Design (PED), Statement of Purpose (SOP), and Portfolio of Abilities (PoA)

AIEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The AIEED 2025 eligibility criteria prescribed by ARCH are the minimum set of requirements that an individual must meet to apply for the examination. The prerequisites are different for undergraduate and postgraduate-level courses provided by the institution. An applicant must meet the AIEED 2025 eligibility criteria of the courses they are applying for, or else their application will not be considered. The following is a discussion of the AIEED eligibility criteria 2025 put forward by the conducting authority.

For undergraduate courses:

The following are the eligibility criteria for AIEED 2025 for UG-level programmes having a four-year course duration:

  • Under the UGC criteria, candidates who have taken and passed their 12th-grade examination from the State Board, IB, ICSE, CBSE, NIOS, or any comparable board are qualified for admission.

  • Applicants who were scheduled to take their 12th-grade exam might also apply. Also, students who pass the interaction and Portfolio of Abilities (PoA) rounds will be qualified for direct admission in the 2025 academic year.

For postgraduate courses:

Applications for programmes offered at ARCH Academy are open to anyone who has graduated or is presently completing a degree in any academic discipline, provided that they are enrolled in and obtaining their education from a recognised college or institution.

Note: Everybody who is 16 years of age or older is allowed to apply for the International Undergraduate level programme as per Pearson-Edexcel regulations. Following their completion of the Pearson Edexcel BTEC incorporated in the 4-year programme at ARCH, these candidates can choose to complete their higher education with a "Top Up" degree in one year from any of the Pearson Edexcel listed Institutions worldwide.

AIEED 2025 Admission Process

The AIEED 2025 exam application must be completed online at the ARCH College of Design & Business. To complete the AIEED 2025 admission procedure, candidates must follow the steps outlined below.

Step 1: Fill Out the AIEED 2025 Application Form

AIEED applications can be submitted online by visiting the official website of the university. If the applicants wish to apply for the AIEED 2025, they must complete the form by paying an application fee of INR 3,000. This fee can also be paid online using internet banking, a debit card, or a credit card.

Step 2: Take the AIEED 2025 Exam Online

Series 1 and Series 2 are the two stages of the AIEED 2025. The Series 2 entrance exam is only held if there are open seats for admission, aspirants must be aware. The AIEED exam must be taken online by candidates. Three slots will be available for candidates to choose from when they want to take the test. The following list includes the common AIEED 2025 exam slots:

  • 10 AM to 1 PM
  • 2 PM to 5 PM 
  • 6 PM to 9 PM

Candidates should keep the following things in mind while taking the online AIEED 2025 exam:

A total of 15 A4-sized blank sheets of paper are required to complete the drawing-focused questions on the AIEED CAT exam. Other required things include a pencil and rubber, a steel scale, dry colour media (oil pastels, crayons, colour pencils, etc.), glue sticks, black and blue pens, scissors and a cutter.

Software Systems Required

Microsoft Word for Windows XP Professional or any later operating system (Windows 7 or later).

UPS System

Throughout the test, make sure the desktop computer is linked to an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System. Also, if you are taking the exam on a laptop, be sure it is fully charged and plugged in.

Step 3: Interview and Portfolio Round

Candidates who have been shortlisted for this stage of the AIEED 2025 admissions process must show up for an interview and portfolio round. This phase comprises:

  • Making a video
  • Presentation of a portfolio
  • Skype communication/interaction

AIEED 2025 Exam Pattern

AIEED 2025 Syllabus

The Arch College of Design and Business does not usually publish any syllabus for the AIEED admission exam. The General Ability Test (GAT) and the Creative Ability Test (CAT) are the two tests that make up the AIEED 2025 exam.
