AME CET stands for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test. The conducting body responsible for the AME CET exam is UDAI AVIATION Pvt Ltd, an entirely independent organization that also works on digital marketing, software design, and brand creation. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering comes under the purview of DGCA, Government of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation. Based in New Delhi, the DGCA is a regulatory body in the area of civil aviation, with a focus on safety matters. It regulates the air transport services to, from, and within India, taking into consideration that these services are performed according to the standards of air safety. Finally, DGCA coordinates all its regulatory work with the International Civil Aviation Organization.

The AME CET 2025 eligibility requirements have been published on the official website by the authorities. • At the time of admission, candidates have to pass the 10+2 board exam with PCM or an equivalent AICTE-approved 3-year engineering diploma in any stream or any higher qualification in science with PCM.
• The eligibility criteria for these programs are at least 45% marks in 10+2 PCM or equivalent.
• A student who is eligible for B. Tech admission is also eligible for admission to the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering programme.
• A candidate shall have attained an age of 16 years but not more than 28 at the time of his admission.
• Candidates should not have colour blindness or any form of physical disability.
