AP DEECET is a state-level entrance exam which is conducted by the Department of School Education of Government of Andhra Pradesh to offer admission to aspirants seeking admission into the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) courseoffered by the Government District Institutes of Education and Training (D.I.E.Ts) along with several other Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in Andhra Pradesh. The AP DEECET entrance exam paves way for almost 7000 vacant seats in Government DIETs and Private D.El.Ed Institutes in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
