Arunachal Pradesh TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring for Arunachal Pradesh TET 2023 exam must note that they will be allowed to register for the exam only if they satisfy the eligibility criteria specified by Department of Elementary Education, Arunachal Pradesh. Arunachal Pradesh TET 2023 Eligibility for Paper I (Primary Teachers)

The eligibility criteria for Paper I of Arunachal Pradesh TET is as follows -

Age Limit: Candidates aspiring to appear for Paper I exam of Arunachal Pradesh TET must note that his/her age should not be more than 30 years as on January 01, 2023. However, there is relaxation in the age limit for the candidates belonging to APST category.

Educational Qualification:

The education qualification required to appear for Paper I of Arunachal Pradesh TET is as follows -

  • The candidates should have passed Class 12th with a minimum of 50% of marks and D.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education). Students who are pursuing final-year D.Ed course are also eligible to appear for TET.

  • Candidates who have passed Class 12th with a minimum of 50% of marks and have completed B.EI.Ed are also eligible for TET. Final-year B.EI.Ed students are also eligible for the test.

  • Candidates who have completed a Bachelor’s degree along with D.Ed are also eligible for the exam.

  • According to the latest rule of NCTE, B.Ed graduates are also eligible to appear for Paper I of Arunachal Pradesh.

Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria as mentioned above are eligible to appear for Paper I exam of Arunachal Pradesh TET.

Note: The term - Appearing Candidates refer to those who are pursuing their final semester study of the qualifying examination. 

Arunachal Pradesh TET 2023 Eligibility for Paper II (Upper Primary Teacher)

The eligibility criteria for Paper-II exam of Arunachal Pradesh TET is as follows -

Age Limit:The maximum age limit for the candidates aspiring to appear for Arunachal Pradesh TET 2023 should not be more than 35 years as on January 01, 2023.

Educational Qualification:

The education qualification required to appear for Paper-II exam of Arunachal Pradesh TET is as follows -

  • The candidates must have passed B.Ed with a minimum of 50% of marks. Candidates belonging to APST/ reserved categories should have a minimum of 45% in B.Ed degree.

  • Candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s degree and D.Ed are also eligible to appear for Paper-II.

  • Candidates who have completed Class 12th and four-year B.EI.Ed course are also eligible for Paper-II.

  • Candidates who have passed four-year Integrated B.Sc B.Ed/ B.A, B.Ed are also eligible to appear for Paper-II

Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria as specified above are eligible to appear for Paper-II exam of Arunachal Pradesh TET 2023.
