APTET 2025 Exam will be conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Secondary Education Department tentatively in 2nd week of December 2025. By clearing the exam, students can get selected for the teaching position. The qualified candidates can be selected for the recruitment exam for lower and upper primary teachers. The selected students for lower primary teachers will get an opportunity to teach in classes 1 to 5. For upper primary teachers, candidates will teach in classes 6 to 8. Arunachal Pradesh  Teachers Eligibility Test, or Arunachal Pradesh TET exam is a state level exam which is conducted by the directorate of elementary education of the state, to identify the eligibility of worthy candidates, who go onto serve as primary school teachers and junior school teachers in the government schools of  Arunachal Pradesh. The exam is divided into 2 papers: Paper I and Paper II. Nationality

A candidate who possess the Indian nationality can apply for the exam. Even a person from outside Arunachal Pradesh is eligible to apply for Arunachal Pradesh TET 2023.

Age Limit Criteria

•  The lower and upper limit of age varies post-wise.

• For Paper I – Maximum age should be less than 30 years (APST candidates can avail the age relaxation as per norms)
• Paper II – 35 years (APST candidates can avail the age relaxation as per norms)

 Educational Qualification

For Paper I

• Candidate should have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks and a 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education OR
• Candidate should have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
• Candidate should have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-years Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR

For Paper II

• Candidate should have completed Graduation and 2- years Diploma in Elementary Education OR
• Candidate should have completed Graduation with at least 50% marks along with Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR
• Candidate should have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 500 marks and 4-years Bachelor in elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
• Candidate should have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years B.A-B.Ed/B.Sc. B.Ed

The Commissioner of School Education Arunachal Pradesh will make the Arunachal Pradesh TET application form available online at their official website. Application forms will tentatively be made available online tentatively in 2nd week of November 2025. To apply, go to the designated website or click the button below. Look for the "Apply Online" link under the In-Home tab and click it. The applicants must use TS Online, Net Banking, or credit/debit cards to pay the application cost. Then enter the necessary information in the online form.

• Now click on the new user and proceed for the registration
• Enter the required details like name, e-mail ID, mobile number, date of birth, etc. as asked on the registration page
• Submit the above provide details to generate the log in and password
• Now log in using the ID and Password received on your mail ID
• Complete the further part of registration by providing the required details related to academics and so on
• Then you will be required to select the city preference
• Next step is to upload all the required documents including aadhar card or any other personal ID, educational certificates, etc
