BHU PET 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Institute of Agricultural Sciences

The eligibility criteria for the Institute of Agricultural Sciences at BHU PET are as follows

  • Candidates with 4-year B.Sc Animal Husbandry and Dairying degree in a credit-based course programme will be eligible for admission to M.Sc Animal Husbandry and Dairying
  • Candidates with 4-year B.Sc Agriculture/ B.Sc Hons. Agriculture degree in a credit-based course programme
  • Candidates with a 4-year degree in B.Sc Hons. A horticulture degree in a credit-based course programme will be eligible for admission to M.Sc Horticulture

BHU PET 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Faculty of Social Sciences

The eligibility criteria for BHU PET 2022 for the Faculty of Social Sciences are listed below 

  • Candidates should have studied the subject they are applying for at the graduation level
  • They should have a BA/ B.Sc/ BA Hons/ B.Sc Hons degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% in subjects adding toward marks in the final mark sheet

BHU PET 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Faculty of Arts

The eligibility criteria for BHU PET 2022 Faculty of Arts are:

  • Candidates must have studied the subject in which they seek admission at the graduation level
  • Must have pursued BA/ BA Hons in 10+2+3 from a recognised university and have a minimum aggregate of 50% (excluding the subjects which do not add up to the final marks in the mark sheet)
  • Must have studied Pali/ Buddhist Studies as a Hons. subject or a subject in all the three years at graduation level for admission in M.A Pali.
  • For admission in MA Chinese, German, French, Arabic, Marathi, Russian, Persian, Telugu, and Nepali, PG Diploma/ Advanced Diploma is needed along with a BA degree. Candidates also need at least 50% in diploma, advanced diploma

BHU PET 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Institute of Science

The eligibility criteria for the BHU PET 2022 Institute of Science are listed below

  • Subject applied for should have been studied at the graduation level
  • Candidates should have studied B.Sc/ B.Sc Hons in 10+2+3 and scored 50%. The aggregate should include the marks of only those subjects which add to the final score in the mark sheet.
  • For Botany and Zoology, candidates must have studied Chemistry at the UG level
  • Candidates who completed their graduation in Science, Engineering and Technology and Medical Sciences without Psychology at Bachelor's level are eligible for admission to M.Sc Psychology
  • Must have studied Geology as a Hons subject or studied in all the 3 years of graduation for M.Sc Geology admission.

BHU PET 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Faculty of Commerce

BHU PET 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Faculty of Commerce are as follows

  • Candidates must have graduated with at least 50% in B.Com (Hons)/ B.Com (Hons) in Financial Markets and Management as per the 10+2+3 pattern. The aggregate should include only those subjects which add to the final score in the mark sheet
  • The subject applied for must have been studied by the candidate at the graduation level

Hi there, yes you can pursue MA in English without having studied English literature at graduation level. However, you should have studied English in school though. The eligibility for MA English at LPU is 50 percent marks in graduation or equivalent in any discipline. Hope this is self explanatory. Good Luck
