BITSAT 2025 Merit List

The BITSAT merit list 2025 will be released separately for each session of the exam. Furthermore, BITS Pilani releases the merit list after the declaration of the BITSAT Result 2025. Based on the BITSAT 2025 merit list of candidates, Bira Institute of Science and Technology conducts the BITSAT Counselling 2025 in 6 to 7 rounds. After each round of counselling, the BITSAT admit list 2025 will be released. Candidates who feature on the admit/merit list of BITSAT 2025 will be considered eligible for enrollment in various courses offered at the BITSAT-accepting colleges.

The BITSAT Merit List is prepared based on the below-mentioned criteria:-

• The authority will release two merit lists, one for B Pharm and the other for all programs offered at BITS.
• The names of the candidates in the merit list are prepared based on the scores that they secure in the examination.
• The candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be stated as eligible for admission.

The BITSAT Merit List is prepared based on the below-mentioned criteria:-

What is BITSAT 2025 Admit List?

BITSAT Admit List 2025 refers to the merit list of candidates who have qualify for the counselling session. Candidates can find all the details about the BITSAT 2025 Admit List here - 

• The concerned authorities will release the admit list of BITSAT in different iteration sessions.
• Candidates must note that the admit list of BITSAT 2025 will be prepared by the authorities based on the marks secured by the candidates in the entrance examination.
• The BITSAT 2025 admit list will mention the names of the candidates who have been shortlisted for the counselling process of BITSAT.
• The candidates who have been shortlisted will have to submit an admission application form before the deadline specified by the authorities.

BITSAT Wait list 2025

• The waitlist for BITSAT 2025 will have the names of the candidates who have not been allotted seats in the iteration rounds.
• The BITSAT 2025 Waitlist will mention that the candidates will have to wait for a chance to get allotted to the participating institutes.
• Candidates must note that the seat allotment of the candidates may be kept on hold due to reasons and they may be eligible for the allotment in the further rounds of iteration.

Tie-Breaking Criteria of BITSAT 2025

There may be cases when one or more candidates may obtain the same scores in the examination, in such cases, the authorities will apply the tie-breaking method. To break the tie in the BITSAT 2025 examination, the following are the tie-breaking criteria that will be followed.

• In case, two candidates score the same, then, first, their scores obtained in Mathematics/Biology(For B.Pharm) in BITSAT will be considered for separating them.
• If the tie still exists, candidates’ scores in Physics in BITSAT will be taken into consideration separating them.
• If the tie still exists, candidates’ scores in Chemistry will be considered.
• Finally, candidates’ PCM/PCB total marks in the Class 12 examination will be considered for their separation.

What after BITSAT Merit List 2025?

The authority conducts some specific procedures following the release of the merit list. The details of the same are mentioned below:-

• BITSAT Counselling:-

The authorities will announce the admit list of BITSAT Counselling. The candidates who qualify the exam must submit the documents required before the deadline.

• Waitlist:-

The authorities release an individual waitlist for the candidates who do not make it in the first round of BITSAT Counselling.

• Selection:-

The candidates who qualify all the rounds of counselling will be allotted seats based on their preferred BITS campuses.
