CG PET Counselling 2025

The CG PET counseling is conducted in three rounds. Candidates who will successfully clear the CG PET 2025 exam will be eligible to take part in the CG PET counseling 2025. The counseling process of CG PET 2025 will include a series of steps like registration of the candidate, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted college. CG PET 2025 Counselling, Reservation and Seat Allotment Rules

Division of B.E. Seats in Chhattisgarh Engineering Colleges (CG PET/JEE Main-Based)

B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) seats available in Chhattisgarh private, government, minority and other engineering colleges across the state are distributed among the following categories -

1. CGQ1 - Chhattisgarh State Quota

2. OSQ1 - Other State Quota

3. MQ1 - Management Quota

4. MINQ1 - Minority Quota

The division of seats among the above four categories is as follows -

CG PET 2025 Counselling Process

Registration:

• Candidates who qualify for CG PET 2025 become eligible to participate in the CG PET 2025 counselling process

• Candidates have to first register themselves online by filling out the application form

• Only those candidates who are residents of Chhattisgarh need to register themselves online

Filling of Options:

• Candidates should log in to their registered accounts to select the number of colleges and courses of their choice. Candidates can fill in any number of choices

Preferences of Colleges:

• The number of colleges and courses to be filled in the online registration form can be modified

• Candidates should take a print-out of the registration form for further rounds

• Candidates have to submit the application form during document verification

Document Verification:

• It is mandatory for the candidates to get their documents verified at the Document Verification Centre before the seat allotment. Without this, they will not be considered for seat allotment

• It is mandatory for the candidates to appear in person at the Document Verification Centre

• The presence of a guardian is not necessary

• Mark sheet obtained from the Internet is accepted for verification purposes

Seat Allotment:

• Qualified candidates are allotted seats as per their Ranks and Preference of course

• Candidates have to pay the requisite CG PET 2025 counselling fee through Challan

• Candidates must download the allotment letter after the seat allotment is declared

• If choices are filled by the candidates but document verification is not done, then candidates are not considered for seat allotment

Reporting to the Allotted College:

• Candidates should report to the allotted college for admission formalities and payment of fees after downloading the allotment letter

Documents Required for CG PET 2025 Counselling

1. Class10 Class Mark sheet or Birth Certificate

2. Mark sheet of qualifying examination such as Class 10/12 as applicable

3. Mark sheet of Common Entrance Tests like PET/JEE as applicable

4. Domicile certificate of Chhattisgarh

Documents Required for Reserved Categories Candidates:

• Permanent Caste certificate for the candidates belonging to the Reserve category of Chhattisgarh state

• Sainik class certificate

• Freedom Fighter (FF) Class certificate issued by Collector

• Persons with Disability (PWD) class, Disability certificate from the District, Medical Board, and suitability certificate from Superintendent, Govt of India, Labour Ministry,

• Vocational Rehabilitation centre, Napier Town, Jabalpur.

• BPL category, BPL card issued to the guardian by the competent authority.

Following Documents are Required at the Time of Admission to Institutions:

1. Income certificate for Reserve category candidates

2. (Transfer Certificate and Character certificate from the previous institute

3. Gap Certificate (if there is a gap during studies)

4. Migration certificate (if a candidate belongs to some other State board or university)

5. Aadhaar card

CG PET/JEE Main-Based Seat Allotment Rules 2025

The seat allotment for B.E course in Chhattisgarh engineering colleges are done as per the rules specified below -

1. Private engineering colleges and other institutes mentioned above start filling the 10% seats under MQ1 in the B.E course based on the candidate’s rank or score in JEE Main exam. However, this 10 % of seats are allocated to only the students of other states. Chhattisgarh domicile students are not eligible to compete for admission in this 10% quota. If any seats are vacant after the counselling process through JEE Main, these seats will be transferred to CGQ1.

2. Secondly, the authority will begin the counselling process for the B.E course through the CG PET exam 2025. The seats are allocated as per the candidate’s merit in the entrance exam. Only Chhattisgarh domicile students are eligible for CGQ1.

3. If any seats are vacant after the above two rounds, the seats are allocated to state domicile students who have a valid score in CG PET or JEE Main.

4. If the B.E seats in engineering colleges are still vacant after the above rounds of seat allotment, the institutes will have the authority to allocate B.E seats to students of other states

CG PET Seat Allotment 2025

The conducting body will release the CG PET 2025 seat allotment on the CG PET official website after each round of counseling. Candidates are required to provide the CG PET application number and password to check the CG PET seat allotment result for 2025. Candidates must keep in mind that allotment of Chhattisgarh state quota seats is done based on the merit of CG PET 2025 and allotment of other states is done based on the JEE Main scores. Candidates are required to download their CG PET seat allotment letter 2025 and report to the allotted institute to confirm their admission along with the CG PET seat allotment letter.
