The difficulty level of CG PET exam will be similar to the 12th standard qualifying examination since the syllabus will be similar. Candidates will be assessed on their knowledge of topics from Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.
Candidates appearing for CG PET should pass in all the three subjects: Physics, Mathematics and one of the subjects from Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Chemistry with at least 45% marks. The minimum percentage of marks fixed for the SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates is 40%.
Candidates appearing for CG PET must be a citizen of India and must not be less than 17 years of age, while the upper age limit is 30 years. Candidates must also belong to the State of Chattisgarh.
