CG PET Eligibility Criteria 2025

CG PET 2025 eligibility criteria hold the necessary conditions that every candidate has to fulfill in order to appear for the CG PET 2025 exam. Candidates must check the CG PET eligibility criteria 2025 before filling out the CG PET application form 2025. Only those candidates who fulfill CG PET eligibility criteria will be able to take part in the CG PET admission process. CG PET 2025 eligibility criteria comprise age, domicile, qualifying examination, passing marks, and other requirements.

As per the CG PET 2025 eligibility criteria, the candidates looking for admission in B.Tech main subjects should have passed their 10+2 with 45% marks in the three main subjects, and for the candidates who belong to the unreserved category, 40% marks are required (SC/ST/OBC/Disabled) candidates. It is compulsory for the candidates to pass all three main subjects in theory as well as practical to be eligible to fill out the CG PET application form. Detailed Eligibility Criteria for CG PET 2025

Below is the detailed eligibility criteria of CG PET 2025:

Nationality:

• The candidate should be a citizen of India.

• The candidate should be a resident of Chhattisgarh and should have a domicile of the state.

For Engineering:

• Candidates should have passed class 12 from a school affiliated with Chhattisgarh or an equivalent board.

• Candidate should have qualified in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (both theory and practical), and one of the Technical vocational subjects in the qualifying exam.

• The minimum marks for the General category are 45% and 40% for the Reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PH).

For Agricultural Engineering:

• Candidates should be above 16 years of age.

• Candidates should have passed class 12 from a school affiliated with Chhattisgarh or an equivalent board.

• The minimum marks for the General category are 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English, and 45% in the Reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PH).

• Candidates appearing in the final exam are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

For Dairy Technology:

• The candidate should be above 17 years of age as of 31st December 2025.

• The candidate should have passed class 12 from a school affiliated with Chhattisgarh or an equivalent board.

• The minimum mark for the General category is 50% marks in PCM+English and 40% for the Reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PH).

• Candidates appearing for final exams are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Age Limit:

• Candidates should not be more than 30 years of age as of July 1, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for Admissions:

• Candidates should have qualified CG PET.

• Candidates who clear JEE Mains are also considered eligible for the prescribed seats for the same.

CG PET 2025 Application Form

CG PET application form 2025 will be available for those candidates who meet the CG PET eligibility criteria. CG PET 2025 registration process has commenced on the vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in website, interested candidates need to submit their registration & application form before April 17, 2025. The candidates will also get the provision to correct mistakes in their application form from April 18-20, 2025. Candidates should check the eligibility criteria in detail before filling out the application form for the exam. Candidates should fill out and submit the CG PET 2025 application form before the stipulated deadline as per the examination authorities.
