CLAT 2023 Question Paper

CLAT 2023 question paper is an important source of information for candidates preparing for the examination. CLAT question papers are crucial as they help the aspirants understand the varieties of questions they may face in the test. 

CLAT 2024 was held in a single session via offline mode, on December 3, 2023. The test lasted 2 hours with a total of 120 questions that focused on assessing the reasoning skills and comprehension abilities of the aspirants.

Once candidates go through the CLAT question paper 2023, they can infer that this test does not demand that the aspirants need to acquire prior legal knowledge. However, knowing some legal aspects may be beneficial to answer questions related to law from the Current Affairs and General Knowledge section.

CLAT 2023 Question Paper Weightage

There were 5 components of the CLAT question paper 2023. The English language section had around 30 questions, the Current Affairs including General Knowledge had 35 queries, the Legal Reasoning section had 40 questions, the Logical Reasoning had 30 questions, and the Quantitative Techniques segment had 15 problems. 

The questions for the English Language, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs including General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning were based on short or long passages, where the aspirants had to read the passages and then attempt to answer the questions based on them.

Questions for the Quantitative Techniques included a short set of facts or numerical information which the candidates had to go through before attempting the problems.

Hi there LPU conducts its own admission test, lpunest. Even if you dont appear for CLAT you can get admission through lpunest. The Law Department at LPU is one of the first departments that came up when LPU was taking its shape. According to the NIRF ranking, the Law School is ranked 24th.
