CTET 2024 Result (December Session)

The CTET result 2024 for the December session will be announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on the official website at ctet.nic.in. The result will be released in the form of scorecards, displaying a candidate's exam score. CTET 2024 December Result - Direct Link (To be Activated)

CBSE released the marks sheets and certificates of the CTET December 2024 exam through DigiLocker. DigiLocker accounts were created by the CBSE for all candidates who appeared in the CTET December 2024 exam and login details were shared with candidates on their registered mobile numbers. The digital marks sheets and certificates are released with encrypted QR codes, which can be scanned and verified using the DigiLocker mobile app.

The CTET 2024 exam for the December Session will be conducted on December 14, 2024, in two shifts. The passing marks for CTET are 90 out of 150 for the General/UR category and 82.50 out of 150 for SC/ST/PwD. The CTET scorecard contains candidates' names, roll numbers, and their total and subject-wise marks obtained in the exam. To qualify for the CTET result 2024, general category candidates must secure a minimum of 60% marks, while reserved category candidates must secure 55% marks, in addition to meeting the category-specific CTET 2024 cutoff. How to Check CTET 2024 Result?

By following the steps given below, candidates will be able to view their CTET results 2024:

Step 1: Visit the official website i.e.www.ctet.nic.

Step 2: Click on the link that displays ‘CTET 2024 Result’.

Step 3: The CTET Result login page will appear. Enter your Roll Number and hit the ‘Submit’ button.

What after CTET 2024 Result?

After the CTET 2024 result is declared, candidates qualifying for Paper 1 will become eligible to teach classes I to V at Central Government Schools like NVS/KVS/Tibetan Schools. Candidates qualifying for Paper 2 will become eligible to teach classes VI-VIII. Candidates qualifying for both Papers I and Paper II can teach at both levels (Primary and Secondary). They can apply to private schools that recognize the CTET certification and Central Schools such as Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). Additionally, qualified candidates can seek employment in schools owned and operated by state governments, provided that these institutions do not administer their own State Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).

Validity Period of CTET 2024 Certificate

The CTET 2024 certificate is issued only to qualified candidates, and its validity is for a lifetime from the date of the result announcement for all categories. It's important to note that those who have qualified for CTET 2024 can also retake the exam to improve their scores, as there is no restriction on the number of attempts to acquire a CTET certificate.

Where will CTET Result 2024 be Stored?

The CTET 2024 result is stored in the Digilocker account of those candidates who have cleared the CTET 2024 entrance exam. The CTET 2024 result card, along with the certificates of the eligible candidates, is available in digital format in the candidates' Digilocker account. The eligibility certificates and the mark sheets carry a digital signature of the concerned authority in addition to an encrypted QR code for security purposes. The candidates can use the Digilocker mobile application to scan and verify the QR code. The authority has created a Digilocker account for all the candidates and the credentials for the same will be relayed to the candidates on their mobile numbers which are registered with CBSE. The candidates can use the same credentials in order to access their eligibility mark sheets and digital CTET 2024 mark sheets.

CTET Result 2024 Rechecking/Re-evaluation

Candidates appearing in the CTET 2024 should note that, according to CBSE rules, the CTET 2024 result will not be rechecked or reevaluated. However, in case of any discrepancy related to question/response or calculation errors, candidates may raise objections against the provisional answer key within the stipulated time frame set by CBSE. All grievances will be addressed according to the board's prescribed guidelines before the final result declaration.

Who will be Declared ‘Pass/Qualified’ in CTET 2024

In order to be considered CTET qualified or CTET pass, candidates will have to meet the following qualifying criteria:

  • Candidates (General category) scoring 60% and above in the CTET 2024 examination will be considered qualified.

  • The qualifying percentage is relaxed for SC / ST / OBC category candidates. Such candidates need to secure a minimum of 82.50 out of 150 marks.

Applicability of CTET Certificate 2024

The CTET 2024 certificate issued to all the qualifying candidates will be applicable to the following:

  • Central Government schools (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.)

  • Unaided Private schools may exercise the option of considering CTET

  • Schools under the administrative control of UT’s of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi

  • Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies

CTET 2024 Duplicate Marksheet

Candidates should note that they can apply for a duplicate certificate. In case the CTET certificate is lost or damaged. He/she can get a duplicate copy of CTET mark sheet/eligibility certificate by paying INR 200 + INR 35 (Postal Charges) through Demand Draft in favor of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn on any nationalized bank, payable at Delhi. The time for the issue of the duplicate document is within 14 working days.
