The CTET 2024 certificate that will be issued to all qualifying candidates will apply to the following:
- Central Government Schools like KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.
- Schools administered by UT’s of Chandigarh, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and NCT of Delhi.
- Schools owned and managed by the State Government or local bodies as also unaided private schools may exercise the option of considering CTET.
If a candidate qualifies for CTET 2024, will the CTET unit or CBSE provide him a job?
No, CBSE is only responsible for conducting the CTET exam, and the provision of employment does not fall under its jurisdiction. The responsibility of finding and securing employment rests upon the candidates.
Candidates who secure more than 60% in their CTET exam will be issued a CTET Eligibility certificate by the organizing body. This certificate will be valid for a lifetime. CBSE may offer certain concessions to the reserved category participants.
CBSE has not laid down any restrictions regarding the number of times an aspirant can appear for CTET 2024. Thus, the candidates can take the exam as many times as they want.
It is compulsory to have a diploma or degree in teacher education to be eligible for CTET 2024. Along with that, the candidates must also have passed their senior secondary or graduation as specified.
