GAT B 2025 admit card is anticipated to be released soon, tentatively in April 2025! According to the latest updates, the admit card for GAT B 2025 will be released a few days before GAT B exam 2025, which is scheduled for April 20, 2025. It will be conducted in CBT mode for 3 hours. GAT B 2025 application correction window has now closed. Students could make corrections in GAT B 2025 application form till March 06 2025. GAT - B application correction link was made live on the official website on March 05, 2025. The last date to submit the GAT-B 2025 application form was March 3, 2025.

BET 2025 Exam Application process commenced on February 28, 2025. Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) 2025 will now be conducted as a separate examination and will no longer be a part of GAT B. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the schedule for BET 2025. Students can submit the examination fee until March 28, 2025 (11:50 PM). The correction window for the BET 2025 application form will be available from March 30 to March 31, 2025. For the convenience of the students, we are providing a direct link for filling the BET application form online.

BET 2025 is scheduled to be conducted on May 13, 2025 (Tuesday), in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will have a duration of 3 hours (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM). Aspiring students must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying. The students should also check BET Syllabus and BET Exam pattern carefully as the separate examination will be conducted from this year. 

Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) is the national qualifying examination for the award of Doctoral Research Fellowships under the DBT-Junior Research Fellowship (DBTJRF) Programme. BET is an All-India computer-based examination which is held once every year. These fellowships can be pursued at any recognized university/institution in India where the selected fellow registers for the PhD programme.

Graduate Aptitude Test of Biotechnology (GAT-B) is an All-India Entrance Examination administered by NTA to select talented students for admission to DBT-supported postgraduate programmes in Biotechnology or allied sciences. Some of the disciplines one can pursue through GAT B 2025 include MSc Biotechnology and allied areas; MTech Biotechnology and allied areas; MSc Agricultural Biotechnology and MVSc Animal Biotechnology.

GAT-B & BET 2025 exam eligibility criteria are very important and candidates should confirm their eligibility with each participating college or university before submitting an application. Students should keep in mind that those who are in the final year of their qualifying degree are also eligible to fill out GAT-B & BET 2025 application form. Following are some of the common GAT-B 2025 eligibility criteria (released) that are required by all participating institutions.

Nationality: Only bonafide Indian nationals are allowed to appear in GAT-B & BET 2025 exam.

Educational Qualification: Applicants having a valid Bachelors (BE/ BTech/MBBS) and Masters (MSc/ MTech/ MVSc/MPharm/Integrated MSc/ MTech) in any discipline of Biotechnology, Life Sciences such as Biomedical, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Botany, Computational Biology, Microbiology, Zoology, Chemistry, Genetics,  or any other allied fields of Biology/Life-Sciences are eligible for taking admission through GAT-B & BET 2025 exam. For taking admission through GAT-B in different postgraduate courses in the participating universities, candidates must have completed their Bachelors in the relevant stream from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks for SC/ ST/ Differently Abled and 60% for General, EWS, and OBC Category.

Those who have taken or will take their qualifying degree's final examination are eligible to apply for GAT-B 2025 exam in the result awaited (RA) category. Such a candidate must submit an Undertaking/Attestation Form certified/stamped by the Head of the Institute (with address and name) where they are pursuing their qualifying degree. Failure to follow this instruction will result in the rejection of GAT-B & BET 2025 applications.

Minimum Marks: Applicants representing General, EWS & OBC category must score at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade and 55% marks are required by those representing SC/ ST/ Differently Abled candidates in aggregate. 

Age Criteria: For BET 2025 exam, maximum 28 years of age for General and EWS category. There is age relaxation for SC/ST/ Differently Abled/ Women candidates and the upper age criterion for them are 33 years and 31 years for those representing OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. There is no age restriction for GAT B 2025 exam.

Candidates taking GAT-B & BET 2025 exam must be familiar with the basic details of GAT-B 2025 exam pattern (released) in order to perform well and pass the exam. GAT B and BET 2025 exams have different exam patterns. They must address the negative markings associated with both examinations. The entrance exams for both GAT B and BET 2025 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, with English as the language of examination.

The students must take care of the marking scheme for GAT-B & BET 2025 exam if they want to perform well and qualify the entrance examination. 

Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2025

• Section A: Each correct answer is of One (1) mark. There will be negative marking and for each wrong answer, half (1/2 or 0.5) mark will be deducted.  
• Section B: Each correct answer is of Three (3) marks. There will be negative marking and for each wrong answer, One (1) mark will be deducted.

The National Testing Agency will issue GAT-B 2025 Admit Card  to candidates who will complete the application process successfully. The exact dates for the release of GAT B 2025 admit cards haven't been announced yet, but it is expected to be out in April 2025. GAT-B 2025 admit card contains all of the important information, such as the candidate's name, roll number, examination centre, and exam time. Candidates must bring their admit card to GAT-B 2025 exams or they will be unable to participate. When filling out GAT B & BET 2025 online application, candidates must select four cities. When allocating a Centre of Examination, the candidate's preferred city will be considered. In any case, due to logistical and administrative considerations, he or she may be assigned an exam centre in another city or nearby area. The examination centre cannot be changed once selected and assigned (after the correction window has closed). Requests in this regard will be ignored.

How to Check GAT B 2025 Exam City?

The exam city/centre details of GAT B 2025 exam will be mentioned on the admit cards. Make sure to check all details on your GAT B 2025 admit card once it is released, as it will contain specific information about the exam date, time, and center

• Go to the National Testing Agency's official site at exams.nta.ac.in/DBT/. This is where the admit cards will be made available.
• Use your Application Number and Password/Date of Birth to log in.
• Download your admit card & exam city details will be displayed on your screen.
• Students are responsible for their own travel costs and accommodations. NTA will provide no travel allowance, daily allowance, or accommodation facilities for appearing in GAT-B/BET 2025 exams.
• When filling out the GAT-B application form, candidates must select four preferred exam centers. The NTA will then randomly allocate an exam center from those choices

GAT-B & BET 2025 answer key will be released few days after the exam. The answer key allows students to tally their answers and estimate their score. The answer key for the GAT-B & BET 2025 exams can be downloaded from the official website. Students can raise the challenge against GAT-B 2025 answer key. They can use this to match answers shortly after the exam to get an idea of how they performed on the National Testing Agency's test. On the other hand, the NTA's GAT B / BET Official Answer Key refers to the exam's official answers. This is useful for determining actual marks for the GAT B / BET 2025 results. To participate in the challenge, applicants must pay a fee of Rs. 200 per question. This fee is a non-refundable processing fee that is required.

The National Testing Agency releases GAT-B & BET result 2025 after the final answer key is out. The NTA GAT-B & BET 2025 result will be displayed on the official website. The authority will not send scorecards to applicants separately. Those who have been declared qualified based on GAT-B 2025 results will be contacted for admission and counselling later. Along with the announcement of GAT-B results 2025, the NTA will also publish the merit list on its official website. The result for GAT-B 2025 includes the candidate's personal information, qualifying status, marks obtained, overall rank, and other details. GAT-B & BET 2025 application process is live! Students can submit their online applications for GAT B 2025 till March 03, 2025.

Candidates who meet GAT-B & BET 2025 eligibility criteria as specified by the various participating institutions are eligible to apply for GAT B & BET 2025. Candidates must also submit only one application form for GAT-B & BET 2025 entrance exams. Applicants who submit multiple GAT B 2025 application forms will have their forms rejected. Before filling out GAT B/BET 2025 application form, they must have all of the necessary documents ready. How to Fill GAT B 2025 Application Form?

To fill out GAT B & BET 2025 application form correctly, candidates should ensure they have all the necessary documents. Follow the steps below.

Step-1: First of all, candidates are required to register for NTA GAT-B & BET 2025 using their mobile number and email ID. One must note down your system-generated application number after registration.

Step-2: The candidates must fill the application form and enter their personal details as required in the GAT-B & BET 2025 application form. 

Step-3: Must upload a scanned copy of the following documents as per the required specifications:

• Recent passport size photograph in jpg/jpeg 10KB-200KB either in black & white or colour
• Candidate’s signature 4kb – 30kb
• PwD certificate 50 kb-300 kb
• Category certificate 50 kb-300 kb
• Proof of Date of Birth 50 kb-300 kb
