GAT-B/BET Exam Centres 2025 Overview

GAT-B/BET Exam Centres 2025: NTA (National Testing Agency) provides the list of GAT-B 2025 exam centres in its official notification. Candidates planning to appear for the exam are advised to check the GAT-B/BET 2025 exam centres carefully before submitting their application forms and familiarize themselves with their chosen test centre locations to plan their travel accordingly. The GAT-B 2025 exam will be held in approximately 130 cities across India.

The official notification is expected in February 2025, along with the release of the GAT-B and BET 2025 application form. The GAT-B/BET 2025 exams are scheduled to take place in April 2025. While filling out the application form, candidates must choose four preferred exam centres. It’s important to note that the NTA will randomly allocate the exam centres, and once assigned, no changes will be allowed.

List of GAT-B/BET Exam Centres 2025: State-Wise

When applying for the GAT-B & BET 2025 exams, candidates are required to select four preferred cities for their exam centers. While efforts will be made to assign a center in the city of your choice, due to logistical or administrative reasons, you may be assigned a center in a nearby city. Once the exam center is allotted and the correction window has closed, no changes will be allowed.

GAT-B & BET 2025 Exam Centres: How to Download Exam City Slips?

The National Testing Agency will release the exam city information slips for GAT-B and BET 2025. Candidates appearing for these exams can download the slips from the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/DBT/. These slips provide important information about the city where the exam center is located.

The exam city slip is not the same as the GAT-B & BET 2025 admit card. As mentioned in the official notification: “This is NOT the Admit Card for GAT-B & BET 2025. It only provides advance information on the city where the exam center will be located. The actual admit card will be issued later.

Given below is the step-by-step guide on how you can download your GAT-B/BET 2025 exam city slip:

• Visit the official website: exams.nta.ac.in.
• Go to the “GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST – BIOTECHNOLOGY (GAT-B) & BIOTECHNOLOGY ELIGIBILITY TEST (BET)” section.
• Click on the link for downloading the exam city slip.
• Enter your application number and date of birth.
• Check the details and download the slip.

GAT-B/BET Exam Centres 2025: Important Instructions

Before heading to the exam center, it is important for candidates to carefully read and follow the instructions provided on their Admit Card. 

• Candidates must bring the following necessary documents to the exam center. Those without the required documents will not be permitted to sit for the exam.
  • A printed copy of the Admit Card downloaded from the NTA website.
  • One passport-sized photograph (the same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for attaching to the attendance sheet.
  • A valid, original government-issued photo ID (e.g., School ID, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhar Card with a photograph, Aadhar Enrollment Number, or Ration Card).
  • PwD certificate, if applicable.
• Candidates must not carry any materials listed as prohibited to the exam center.
• Bags or any other personal belongings are not allowed inside the exam center. NTA will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.
• Candidates should arrive at the exam center at the time mentioned on their Admit Card to avoid crowding. It’s important to reach the test center by the reporting time or earlier. Late entry will not be allowed:
  • For GAT-B 2025: No entry after 8:30 AM.
  • For BET 2025: No entry after 2:30 PM.
• Identity checks and biometric data collection will be conducted at the center to ensure the authenticity of each candidate. Cooperation with security personnel is required for these checks. Unauthorized candidates will not be allowed.
• You must present your Admit Card upon request for entry into the exam hall. No candidate will be allowed to take the exam without a valid Admit Card.
• Candidates are not allowed to leave their assigned seats or the exam room without the express permission of the Invigilator or Centre Superintendent until the exam duration has ended.
• Only the candidates are allowed at the test center; friends or family members will not be permitted to enter or interact with candidates during the exam process.
• Candidates must arrive at their own cost on the date and time specified on the Admit Card issued by NTA. No travel allowance (TA), daily allowance (DA), or accommodation will be provided to candidates attending GAT-B 2025/BET 2025.

GAT-B/BET Exam Centres 2025: Prohibited Materials

Candidates appearing for the GAT-B/BET Exam 2025 must ensure they do not bring the following prohibited items into the exam room or hall:

• Textual materials such as books, printed or written notes.
• Electronic devices, including:
  • Calculators
  • Docu Pens
  • Slide Rules
  • Log Tables
  • Electronic watches with calculator functions
  • Mobile phones
  • Bluetooth devices
  • Pagers or any similar gadgets.

Possession of any of the above items will be considered unfair means. This can result in the cancellation of the current exam and disqualification from future exams. Any prohibited materials will be confiscated. Additional restrictions include:

• Smoking, chewing gum, or spitting is strictly prohibited inside the exam room.
• Candidates are not allowed to carry any of the following:
  • Stationery like instrument boxes, pencil cases, or paper
  • Personal items like handbags, purses, or metallic objects
  • Food or beverages, including tea, coffee, snacks, or water (loose or packed)
  • Other gadgets, such as earphones, microphones, cameras, tape recorders, etc.

Note for diabetic students: Diabetic candidates may bring sugar tablets, fruits (such as bananas, apples, or oranges), and a transparent water bottle. However, packed foods like chocolates or sandwiches are not permitted.
