Predict NowThe Round 1 counselling for Haryana DET 2021 is expected to begin in the month of September (tentatively). The Haryana DET (L) counselling process for the year 2021 will be conducted for offering seats to the most suitable candidates who appear in the Haryana DET (L) 2021 exam and wish to take admission into the lateral entry diploma engineering programme. The Haryana DET (L) 2021 counselling process will be conducted in three rounds and after the conclusion of the third round of the lateral entry counselling process, the institute-level manual counselling will be conducted for allocation of seats.
A total of 25% of the seats in the un-aided institutions will be management quota seats that will be filled by the institutions. Also, if any seats are vacant after the counselling rounds finishes, the institution has the right to consider those seats under management quota seats as well.

The detailed Haryana DET (L) 2021 counselling process has been provided below -
Step 1 - Registration: The candidates have to register themselves first for the Haryana DET (L) 2021 counselling process by providing personal details like Name, the application number, date of birth etc. The registration fee for the counselling is Rs. 500.
Step 2 - Click on the “Registration Confirmation” link to verify the details provided on the registration form before final submission
Step 3 - After the final submission of details for registration, a user ID and password will be generated (by the candidates) which they have to use to log in to the official website for the purpose of choice filling
Step 4 - The candidates will be shown only those choices for which he/she will be eligible. The candidates should enter their choices (maximum choices should be filled for increased chances)
Step 5 - The candidates, after entering all the choices, have to click on the “Lock Choices” tab to inform the authorities that they have finalized their choices
Step 6 - The candidates have to wait for the declaration of the seat allocation result on the official website
Step 7 - After being allocated a seat in the seat allocation result, the candidates have to visit the allocated institute with all the required important documents
Step 8 - A provisional admission slip will be generated, duly signed by the concerned authority and the candidates, after payment of semester fee in advance in the allocated institute

If a candidate wishes to participate in the subsequent counselling rounds after being allocated a seat, he/she must sign a declaration letter on the official website stating he/she has full knowledge that in such a scenario, the previously allocated seat will be cancelled in case of new seat allocation
The candidates can also delete all the choices if at any stage they feel that the choices opted by them are not better than the seat allocated to them previously. In such a case, the previously allocated seat will remain intact
The candidates can also change their registration details by contacting HSTES. In such a case, the choices made with the previous registration details will be deleted and the candidates have to enter fresh choices
The candidates should never disclose their User ID and passcode to any other individual

Here is a list of all those documents that the candidates must carry with themselves to the allocated institute for admission confirmation. The candidates must carry the original documents along with three attested copies of the same -

The reservation policy in all the Technical Education Institutions in the state can be found in the table below. 85% of the total seats will be reserved for candidates belonging to Haryana and the rest will be available for All India Category -

After the Haryana DET (L) 2021 counselling process gets over, the institutes will be required to do the following things -
The institutes have to verify all the claims made by the candidates by comparing the original and self-attested copies and should cancel the admission of the candidates immediately if any claim is found to be wrong
The institutes will guide those candidates whose details are correct with the subsequent admission process
The institutions have to keep a track of all those candidates who appear in the online counselling process
The institute is responsible for providing the admitted candidates with a system-generated admission slip to them duly signed by the institute’s admission coordinator
The institutes have to update the number of vacant seats on the official website after the conclusion of each counselling round
The institutes also have to update the number of management quota seats offered to the students online
The institute cannot offer admission to any candidate under any quota after the last date for admission
The institutions can only offer admission to the candidates as per the eligibility norms
