CG PPT counselling 2025 process will be conducted in three rounds in online mode in August 2025 tentatively after the CG PPT exam gets conducted on May 01, 2025. The applicants who qualify for the minimum percentage criteria will be able to participate in the counselling process. The candidates will be considered for admission by the examination authorities on the basis of their rank obtained in the exam. All the stages of counselling are crucial and will require candidates to go through them to be eligible for admission to their desired colleges. The CG PPT 2025 counselling consists of registration, seat allotment, reporting, document verification, and admission process.
The CG PPT round 1 for counselling commences on August 12, 2025, and the last date to apply for the round 1 counselling will be August 17, 2025. The counselling process requires submission of documents like a class 10 certificate, qualifying marksheet, exam scorecard, domicile certificate, caste certificate, and other documents applicable to their applications. Candidates will also have to fill in the counselling fees as specified by the examination authorities to complete the process of counselling.
The counselling will be followed by seat allotment and the seat will be allotted on the basis of choices filled by the candidates during the counselling process. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of some other factors like rank obtained by the candidates, seat availability, and preference. Applicants should fill in the choices in the CG PPT 2025 counseling process in order of preference. The last step for the candidates is to report at the allocated institute, they need to submit documents like a provisional seat allotment letter, transfer certificate, aadhar card, migration certificate, etc to complete the process.

The tie-breaking rules come into effect when two or more candidates are stuck on the same CG PPT rank or marks. The CG PPT tie-breaking rules have been discussed below -
A candidate who has a higher mark in Mathematics is allocated higher rank
A candidate who is older than the other candidate/s is allocated higher rank
A candidate who has a higher qualifying exam aggregate is allocated higher rank

Income certificate (for candidates belonging to the reserved categories)

CG PPT seat allotment 2025 is an important step for admissions to the desired colleges. The examination authorities will declare the CG PPT seat allotment results on the official website of the exam. Candidates will need their login credentials to check the CG PPT seat allotment results. Candidates are only allotted seats considering factors like rank obtained in the CG PPT exam, preference of colleges & courses, and seat availability. The candidates have to make sure that they confirm their seat allotment before the due date report to the colleges on the given date and make the fee payment as specified. The candidates who are not able to report at the designated colleges and pay their fees before the due date will not be granted the seats as per the seat allotment.
