KEAM Normalization Process 2025

After the commencement of the examination, the normalisation process of KEAM 2025 will take place. With the help of this process, the exam conducting authority will create normalised marks for the examination. On the basis of the marks, the rank list for the test takers will be generated. There is a defined formula used for generating the normalised marks for KEAM. The exam conducting authority has clearly defined this formula on its official site for the test seekers.

The process of normalisation is generated considering two different parameters. These parameters are –

  • The marks of the candidates from different streams or boards other than Kerala Higher Secondary. The board of education can comprise ICSE, AISSCE and CBSE or any other board.

  • The marks of the different sections of KEAM are set as per the difficulty level of the examination. These sections comprise Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The process has been clearly defined by the exam conducting authority of KEAM. It is a procedure that must be conducted after the completion of the examination. With the help of this procedure, an equilibrium of marks will be defined for the test takers. This way, candidates will neither have any advantage or disadvantage due to the difficulty level of the examination. The duration of the examination along with the shifts are also considered for the normalisation process.
