Before accepting the assigned seat, a candidate can 'Freeze' or 'Float' their choice of academic institute for later rounds of seat distribution, if any, as detailed below -

• Applicants who select the Freeze option accept the offered seat and do not wish to participate in any subsequent rounds of seat distribution. Such candidates will not be reconsidered in subsequent admission rounds.
• Aspirants who choose the Float option accept the provided seat and indicate that if admission to a higher-priority academic programme at any Institution is offered, they will accept it. Otherwise, they will continue with the current allotted seats. Candidates in this category will be considered in the second round of admission.
