MH CET Law Seat Allotment 2024 for 5-Year LLB: Round 3 seat allocation for 5-year LLB was declared on August 23, 2024. College reporting for round 3 candidates can be completed between August 24 to August 29, 2024. 

MH CET Law 2024 Seat Allotment for 3-Year LLB: MH CET Law 2024 seat allotment for round 3 was launched on September 6, 2024. Aspirants can report to the allocated college and seek admission between September 9 and September 12, 2024.

The seat allotment results of MH CET Law 2024 for 5-Year and 3-Year LLB are released in two formats - One is the candidate allotment and the other is the institute-level allotment. Candidates can view their MH CET Law 2024 seat allotment results by following the below steps - 

For Candidate Allotment 

  • Aspirants have to open the link named "Check Candidate Allotment".
  • Once they open the webpage, they will find the options to select the counselling round and enter their application ID and click on " Check Your Allotment"
  • Once done successfully, candidates can view their allotment status.

For Institute-Wise Allotment List

  • Aspirants have to use the link named "Check Institute-Wise Allotment List".
  • Once they are on the webpage, they have to enter information such as which round, university, college, and division. 
  • After furnishing the above details, candidates must hit down the tab "Show Allotment List".
  • They will be able to see the institute-wise allocation data.
  • It will include the serial number, name of the applicant, eligible category, allotted type, eligible quota, allotted quota, merit/ marks.

  • To be considered for seat allocation, it is necessary to complete the candidate registration within the deadline.
  • After registration, candidates have to complete the submit the CAP application form and upload the documents for verification. Subsequently, the e-verification team will review the filled-in CAP application form and the documents and then declare the alphabetical and final merit list.
  • Those who are on the final merit list will be able to exercise college options for CAP rounds 1 and 2. Depending on the college choices submitted, the allocation for round 1 and later on round 2 will be launched on the CAP portal.

  • If an aspirant is assigned a seat as per their first choice, then such allotment shall be auto-freezed. Such a candidate shall accept the allocation made and will not be able to take part in the subsequent counselling rounds. 
  • After the said aspirants accept the allotment, they have to pay the seat acceptance fee via the Candidate Login, report to the allotted institute for verification of certificates/ documents and seek admission on the confirmed seat.
  • Those students who are provided with an allocation apart from their first selection, are content with the allotment and do not seek to participate in future CAP rounds can freeze the offered seat via the Candidate Login. Once they use the freeze option, they have to pay the seat acceptance charges and can proceed to the assigned college/ institute for document verification and completing other formalities of the admission process. 
  • Those candidates who have been allocated seats which is not their first preference and did not accept the seat are worthy of allocation in the subsequent CAP rounds. 
  • During college reporting, the concerned college/ institution shall verify the required certificates/ documents and upload the admission of the students in the online system via the institute login. Further, the college shall hand over to the candidate a system-generated receipt of admission confirmation. 

MH CET Law 2024 Seat Allotment Guidelines

  • Candidates must report to the allocated college as per the deadline provided by the conducting authority.
  • Aspirants must make sure to submit original documents during verification which support their claims of eligibility. 
  • If the submitted documents are found to be fake or they cannot furnish enough proof related to the claims made by the applicant in the application, then the allocation will be cancelled.
  • Aspirants who received allocations other than their first choice and reported to the institute to confirm their seat acceptance, while simultaneously filling in fresh college options are advised not to add the already allocated college in the previous CAP round. If the upward choice is allocated to such aspirants, then their earlier allotment shall stand cancelled.

Here is the list of the types of candidature for MH CET Law 2024 seat allotment -

  • Maharashtra State Candidature: A candidate who is born in Maharashtra or is the domicile of Maharashtra, or the father or mother of the applicant is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra, or the father or mother of the applicant is an employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking, or the candidate’s passing 10th or 12th examination and graduation and postgraduation or Equivalent Examination must be from a recognized institution from a disputed Maharashtra-Karnataka Border Area. This should be someone whose mother tongue is Marathi.
  • All India Candidature: The candidates of Indian nationality are eligible under this category.
  • Minority Candidature: The Maharashtra domiciled candidate belonging to a particular or religious minority or linguistic community from within the State and as notified by the Government are eligible under the minority category.
  • NRI Candidature: The Candidate who is registered as an NRI, as declared by the Government of India.
  • Foreign Student or OCI or PIO Candidature: The Candidate who is registered as a Foreign Student or OCI or PIO, as declared by the Government of India.
