MET 2025 Counselling Process

MET 2025 Counselling will tentatively commence in the month of June 2025 for Phases 1 and 2. MET 2025 counselling process includes registration, fee payment, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, etc. The candidates who qualify the examination of MET 2025 will be eligible to attend the counselling process. The complete procedure of counselling is conducted in different phases. The candidates need to register themselves in an online mode on the official website of the authority. MET Counselling Schedule 2025

The authority will soon announce the schedule related to MET 2025 Counselling on its website. The same will be mentioned below as soon as MAHE announces the official dates. Till then, the candidates can find the tentative schedule related to MET Counselling 2025 below:-

MET Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for MET counselling 2025, the candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-

• Candidate must have a valid MET 2025 rank.
• Candidates must have passed a recognized board's 10+2 / A-Level / International Baccalaureate (IB)/American High School Diploma or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and English as obligatory subjects.
• A minimum aggregate grade of 50% in Physics, Mathematics, and one of the optional courses is required. Candidates must have obtained at least the board's minimum pass marks in each of these topics.
• Candidates who have taken or are awaiting the results of their 10+2 / A Level / IB / American High School Diploma or Equivalent board examinations are also eligible for counselling if they meet the aforementioned conditions.

MET 2025 Counselling Procedure

For a better understanding of the counselling, candidates can read the procedure given in detail. The processes are explained below:-

Registration and Choice Filling:

• Candidates will have to visit the official website of the authority and then log in with the help of their registered mobile number & password.
• At the counselling venue, candidates will have to get the registration form and fill in the required details.
• The candidates have to first fill in their choices of colleges and streams while registering for the MET 2025 Counselling Process

• Remember to attach correct and relevant documents along with the registration form

Seat Allocation:

• Successful candidates are allotted seats according to their rank and number of seats available
• There is no restriction on the number of choices to be filled
• Once the choice, of course, is decided by the candidate, it cannot be altered after getting finalised by University under any circumstances
• Candidates can check the allotment status and current status of online counselling by logging into the website and if the seat is already allotted candidates will receive an email regarding the details of the Seat Allotment

Fee Submission:

• Candidates should submit their original documents and pay the first year fees at the time of counselling

• The fee must be paid in offline mode through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘Manipal Academy of Higher Education’ payable at Manipal or Udupi (Karnataka). Alternatively, the fee can also be paid through RTGS/NEFT transfer
• The payment in instalments is not permitted. If you don’t pay the first year fees on the day of counselling then there are chances of your candidature getting cancelled by the University
• Admission order/Provisional Admission Order and receipt/s for the payment made will be given to the candidates on completion of the admission process

Document Verification:

• Biometrics and document verification will be done as per the ranks of the candidates in their MET 2025 exam.
• Candidates must submit the correct documents at the time of registration. Any fault found in the documents submitted shall be subject to the illegal offence and might lead to the cancellation of the candidature of the candidates.

Points to Remember

Candidates must read the below-mentioned points to know what things should be kept in mind while facing the MET 2025 counselling process:-

• The physical presence of the candidate at the time of counselling is mandatory.
• Candidates must send his/her representative along with the authorisation letter if they are unable to attend physically on the day of MET 2025 Counselling.
• Only the candidates/representatives are allowed into the counselling hall.

Documents Required for Verification

The following original documents are to be submitted for verification at the time of counselling:-

• E-Hall ticket
• MET Admit Card 2025
• 10th standard mark sheet for proof of date of birth
• Diploma/B.Sc. Marks card Marks cards of (all semesters/years)and Diploma/B.Sc. Degree Certificate from the Board/University for B.tech lateral
• Transfer certificate or School/College Leaving Certificate issued by the School/College. No other certificate in lieu of this will be accepted(B.tech lateral)
• Mark sheet of qualifying examination (all semesters/years)
• Degree certificate or Provisional pass certificate issued by the Board/University
• Conduct and Character certificate to be obtained on the College letterhead. No other certificate in lieu of this will be accepted
• Fees: as applicable to the program
• Copy of PAN Card(Parent & Candidate)
• Copy of Aadhar Card of candidate
• Authorization letter if the representative is attending on behalf of the candidate
• Two recent and identical passport-size photographs
• One set of self-attested photocopies of all the above documents

MET 2025 Counselling Fees

Candidates will be required to pay a counselling fee while registering for Manipal counselling. The MET counselling fee is Rs. 10,000, which is a waitlist deposit that must be paid online during the MET counselling 2025 registration process. Candidates will be able to finish the choice-filling procedure once they have paid the MET counselling fees. The candidate must pay the first installment fees within the time limit stated after obtaining MET BTech counselling allocation results in any round. The MET counselling fees received at the time of registration will be converted into a refundable caution deposit as part of the refundable caution deposit upon fee payment. If the candidate is not allocated a seat in any of the phases of MET counseling, the waitlist deposit will be refunded within one month of the MET counseling procedure being completed.

MET 2025 Counselling Intra-Institute Sliding

The alteration of designated branches inside the institute is known as intra-institute sliding. Candidates who will be assigned a seat at any institute will be eligible to engage in intra-institute sliding if they wish to change their course branch. For the branch sliding, students must re-register at the institute. Students should be aware that intra-institutional sliding is only a change in the course branch allotted to candidates in any MET 2025 participating institute, not a new seat allotment.

MET 2025 Spot Round Counselling

Manipal Academy of Higher Education will conduct the MET 2025 spot round counselling for the seats that remain vacant after all the rounds of counselling are over. Students who want to participate in the MEF spot round counselling must register online and report to the MET counselling 2025 venue as scheduled.

MET 2025 Participating Colleges

MET 2025 participating colleges include a list of institutes that will accept the scores of MET. The MET 2025 Participating Colleges include all 4 campuses. These include Manipal University of Technology, Manipal, Manipal University of Technology, Sikkim, and the Manipal University of Technology, Jaipur and, Manipal Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
