MET 2025 Exam Analysis

MET 2025 Phase 1 & 2 examinations will be conducted tentatively in the month of April and May 2025 respectively. The MET 2025 exam analysis will be released after the exam is conducted. The exam analysis includes details like the overall difficulty level of the paper, section-wise difficulty, number of good attempts, topics with the most weightage, etc. Going through the MET exam analysis 2025 helps candidates understand the paper and prepare likewise for the exam. The exam is conducted every year by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in an online mode. MET Paper Analysis 2024 Session 1

As per the students who appeared for the MET 2024 Phase 1 exam, the overall difficulty of the exam was difficult. Candidates can check the subject-wise difficulty level mentioned below -

  • The Mathematics section was difficult to attempt with the majority of the topics being asked from Vector, 3D, Coordinate Geometry, Statistics, Mean-Median-Mode, Curve, Probability, etc.

  • The level of the Physics question paper was also tough. Questions were asked from chapters, like Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Semiconductor, EMI, Modern Physics, Gravitation, Work, Power and Energy, etc. 

  • The Chemistry portion was relatively easier compared to the others. The topics majorly covered in the paper were Electrochemistry, Chemical Bonding, Nomenclature, Biomolecules, Thermodynamics, States of Matter, p & D block Elements, Organic Chemistry etc.

The mathematics section proved challenging, encompassing various topics such as functions, trigonometry, probability, matrices, straight lines, and polynomials. The physics section, on the other hand, presented a moderate level of difficulty. It featured questions related to balloon concepts, wavelengths, wiring, and the surface of the earth. Similarly, the chemistry section was also of moderate difficulty. MET Paper Analysis 2022

MET Analysis 2022 -  The Manipal Academy of Higher Education from May 14 to 16,  successfully conducted the MET 2022 phase 1 exam. The detailed MET exam analysis 2022 for phase 1 may be seen here. According to students who took the admission exam, the Manipal BTech exam was moderately difficult overall.
The second phase of the MET exam 2022 will be held from June 9 to 11. On June 17, students will be able to obtain the MET merit list 2022. Students who pass the Manipal BTech test in 2022 will be eligible to join MET-accredited colleges.

Section-Wise MET 2019 Paper Analysis Conducted on 20th April 2019

Candidates can check out the analysis of previous years to get an idea of it. 

Physics: According to the students, the MET 2019 Physics section was lengthy and time-consuming. There were 50 questions in the physics section which were mostly numerical instead of theory-based questions. The students said that the questions asked in the physics section in JEE Main 2019 were relatively tougher than the ones asked in MET 2019 physics section. Based on the overall reaction, it is recommended that the students must attempt the physics section first.

Chemistry: Questions in the Chemistry section were direct and very easy. There were 50 questions in the Chemistry section and the students acknowledged that they could easily finish the given questions in this section well within the time limit.

Mathematics: The MET 2019 Mathematics section consisted of 70 questions which were relatively easy yet tricky, said the students. The students reportedly found the MET 2019 mathematics section a little difficult compared to the other sections. Some students opined that the questions were directly based on the MET syllabus.

English & General Aptitude: According to the exam takers, the English & General Aptitude section was the easiest among all the other sections. There were 30 questions in the MET 2019 English section which were based on sentence improvement, spotting the errors and also tested the vocabulary skills of the examinees.

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is conducting MET 2019 in online mode for B.Tech admission where the aspirants will be awarded 4 marks for correct entry and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The candidates can obtain their MET 2019 score immediately after the submission of the answer sheet which can also be verified 24 hours after the completion of the test. The rough sheets which will be provided to the candidates during the exam should be returned immediately after the exam completion.
