Physics: According to the students, the MET 2019 Physics section was lengthy and time-consuming. There were 50 questions in the physics section which were mostly numerical instead of theory-based questions. The students said that the questions asked in the physics section in JEE Main 2019 were relatively tougher than the ones asked in MET 2019 physics section. Based on the overall reaction, it is recommended that the students must attempt the physics section first.
Chemistry: Questions in the Chemistry section were direct and very easy. There were 50 questions in the Chemistry section and the students acknowledged that they could easily finish the given questions in this section well within the time limit.
Mathematics: The MET 2019 Mathematics section consisted of 70 questions which were relatively easy yet tricky, said the students. The students reportedly found the MET 2019 mathematics section a little difficult compared to the other sections. Some students opined that the questions were directly based on the MET syllabus.
English & General Aptitude: According to the exam takers, the English & General Aptitude section was the easiest among all the other sections. There were 30 questions in the MET 2019 English section which were based on sentence improvement, spotting the errors and also tested the vocabulary skills of the examinees.
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is conducting MET 2019 in online mode for B.Tech admission where the aspirants will be awarded 4 marks for correct entry and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The candidates can obtain their MET 2019 score immediately after the submission of the answer sheet which can also be verified 24 hours after the completion of the test. The rough sheets which will be provided to the candidates during the exam should be returned immediately after the exam completion.
