NMAT 2024 Selection Process

The NMAT 2024 selection process begins after participating institutes shortlist candidates based on NMAT cutoffs. Selection for MBA admissions at these institutes is based on NMAT 2024 results. The selection process consists of two steps: clearing the entrance exam and participating in Group Discussion (GD) or Case Discussion (CD), Writing Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview rounds.

The NMAT 2024 exam will be conducted from November 5 to December 20, 2024. After the release of the NMAT results 2024 candidates meeting the NMAT by the GMAC 2024 cutoff will be eligible for admission to various participating colleges. To proceed in the selection process, candidates must have their NMAT by GMAC 2024 admit card. To enroll in management Institutes accepting NMAT 2024 scores, the selection process is as follows.

NMAT Selection Process

  • Appear for the computer-based NMAT 2024 exam.
  • NMAT 2024 results are announced, followed by the release of NMAT cutoff scores for various programs and colleges.
  • Based on these scores, candidates are shortlisted for pre-admission rounds, which include Personal Interview (PI) and Case Discussion (CD) rounds.
  • In the Case Discussion (CD) round, shortlisted candidates are divided into groups of 5-10 people to discuss a case for 15-20 minutes.
  • Candidates' performance in the Case Discussion (CD) round determines their selection for a Personal Interview.
  • Following the Case Discussion (CD) round, the final step in the selection procedure is the Personal Interview, which evaluates candidates' knowledge, confidence, and ability to handle pressure, among other qualities.
  • Candidates must provide original documents of formal education and work experience, if applicable.
  • The final result is determined by combining the candidate’s entrance test score, work experience, academic profile, and performance in Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

Documents Required for NMAT 2024 Selection Rounds

At the time of admission, the selected candidates have to take the following documents for submission:

  • Class 10th Mark Sheet & Passing Certificate

  • Class 12th Mark Sheet & Passing Certificate

  • Provisional/Original Mark Sheet and Passing Certificate of Graduation

  • Master's Mark sheet & Passing Certificate

  • Certificate of AIU ( or University Equivalence)

  • Certificate of Migration

  • Work Experience Certificate

  • Eligibility Certificate (If required)

  • Medical Fitness Certificate

  • Mediclaim policy

  • Reservation certificate (if required)
