Predict NowPU UGLAW merit list 2024 (provisional) was launched by the Panjab University on July 2, 2024. Candidates have to visit uglaw.puchd.ac.in, to access the provisional merit list for BA LLB and B.Com LLB. Before that, the PU UGLAW 2024 tentative merit list was released on June 26, 2024.
The PU UGLAW merit list is released category-wise and will include the candidate's application number or their roll number, their names, merit score, test score, 10 + 2 score, subject weightage and any other additional weightage. Aspirants can find the complete calculation of their PU UGLAW merit score by logging into their portal with the help of the login ID and password.

The PU UGLAW 2024 final merit list is created using the following method:
BA LLB Hons
The merit list of BA LLB Honours is created by adding 50% weightage to PU UGLAW 2024 scores, and the remaining 50% qualifying examination score.
B.Com LLB Hons
The marks obtained in the PU UGLAW 2024 test are given 50% weightage, with the remaining half weightage is determined by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, with special consideration given to commerce subjects and other acceptable weightage.
Tie-Breaker Situation
Students with the same amount of marks in the Final Merit List will be categorised together. Their inter-se merit rank, on the other hand, will be determined as follows:

What after the PU UGLAW 2024 Merit List?
The counselling process begins once the PU UGLAW 2024 merit list is launched. Those who are chosen for counselling through the merit list must complete the PU UGLAW 2024 counselling registration process and pay the charges. Counselling will be split into several rounds, with each round involving the verification of the candidates' documents.

PU UGLAW 2024 Counselling: Fees to be Paid at the Time of Admission
Applicants must pay the specified fees at the time of admission. The enrollment will be cancelled if the fee is not paid. The fee payment method will be announced at the time of PU UGLAW 2024 counselling. For the first year, the fees for UILS, Chandigarh, UIL, PURC, Ludhiana, and UILS, SSGPURC Hoshiarpur are as follows -

If the candidates’ name is on the PU UGLAW merit list, then only they will be considered for further rounds of the counselling process or document verification.
The PU UGLAW merit list represents the rank order of the candidates according to their performance. Final admissions is more likely to be decided based on counselling, vacant seats, and reservation category of the aspirants.
Once the candidates successfully submit the online admission form, the system will generate a Diary Number in the candidate portal at uglaw.puchd.ac.in.

Yes, candidates submit objections against the tentative merit list of PU UGLAW 2023. The objection submission can be done via email at uglaw@pu.ac.in from June 27 to June 28, 2023.

Candidates from the General Category who attain 15% cutoff marks and 10% cutoff marks from the SC / ST / Backward Classes / PwD are included in the PU UGLAW preliminary merit list.
