What After SNAP Cutoff?
Once the SIU institutes release their SNAP cutoff after the SNAP result declaration for the academic year, aspirants must check the SNAP cutoff by visiting the official website of their preferred institute. If an aspirant qualifies for admission to their chosen SIU institute through SNAP, they will be shortlisted for the next rounds of admission which include Group Exercise (GE), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI). Each SNAP MBA selection process round has been explained in detail below.
Group Exercise (GE)
There are two stages of the Group Exercise (GE) round for SNAP accepting colleges. Shortlisted candidates are divided into groups and each group is given a puzzle to solve in a set amount of time during the first phase. The purpose of this exercise is to evaluate the candidates' teamwork and coordination skills. Aspirants must demonstrate teamwork, management, and leadership abilities during this round.
The group discussion stage is the second of GE phase. Candidates are split up into groups, and a different debate topic is assigned to each group. They have five minutes to brainstorm points pertaining to the subject, after which the floor is opened for discussion. This round evaluates the candidates on their ability to persuade others, think clearly, and communicate effectively.
Written Ability Test (WAT)
The written ability test round consists of a written exam where candidates must compose a brief essay on the assigned subject. Candidates are occasionally given a video to watch and are required to construct a story around it. The purpose of this round is to evaluate the candidates' interpretive and analytical skills.
Personal Interview (PI)
During the personal interview round aspirants are asked questions regarding their future goals and personal lives, similar to personal interviews of other MBA selection processes. These personal interview rounds are aimed at examining the candidate's ability to communicate, think through problems, and solve them this round.
