SSC CGL Result 2024 (Out for Tier 1)
The SSC CGL 2024 Tier I additional results have been released on the official website of SSC, at ssc.gov.in, on January 17, 2025. Candidates who had made it to the Tier 1 additional result lists were shortlisted to appear for Tier II. In List-1 (for the post of Junior Statistical Officer), a total of 18,436 candidates were shortlisted; in List-2 (for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr. II) a total of 2833 candidates were shortlisted for appearing in Tier-II [Paper-I and Paper-II (Statistics)]; while in List-3 a total of 1,65,240 candidates were shortlisted for appearing in Tier-II (Paper-I) (for all other posts). According to the official notification, "Now, in compliance of Order dated 16.01.2025 in OA No. 474/2025 and Order dated 17.01.2025 in OA No. 239/2025 passed by Ld. CAT, Principal Bench, New Delhi, a total of 25+500=525 candidates of Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024 are being allowed to appear provisionally subject to outcome of the above mentioned OAs, in Tier-II of examination to be conducted on 20th January, 2025." 609 additional candidates who have met the minimum cut-offs and qualified for List 3 were shortlisted to appear in Tier-II of the SSC CGL exam scheduled on January 20, 2025. The SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 result wasreleased on December 5, 2024, on the official website at ssc.gov.in. The Tier 1 results have been released under the notification title โCombined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I), 2024 โ List of candidates qualified for appearing in Tier-IIโ. The category-wise cutoff, the number of qualified candidates, and details about the release of scorecards have also been made available under the "Write-up" link. The results have been made available in the form of a PDF containing the names and roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified Tier 1 and are eligible to appear for the Tier 2 exam. Candidates who appeared for the SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 exam, held between September 9 and September 26, 2024, must enter their roll number and date of birth to check their results. The results will be displayed in the form of a merit list, with qualified candidates' names appearing in descending order by their marks. Candidates have been shortlisted category-wise to appear in Tier-II examination based on marks scored in Tier-I Examination. The scorecards have also been made available on the official website that can be accessed by clicking on the 'Result' tab on the homepage. The Tier 2 exam will be conducted on January 18, 19 and 20, 2025.
Qualifying marks for candidates from the unreserved category are required to obtain a minimum of 30%, while those from the OBC and EWS categories must secure a minimum of 25%.
