TS POLYCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

SBTET Telangana will release the TS POLYCET eligibility criteria 2025 along with the official notification on its website sbtet.telangana.gov.in. Candidates can refer to the TS POLYCET 2025 eligibility criteria to know about the different parameters, such as the age limit, domicile, nationality, educational qualification, minimum marks in the qualifying examination etc. Candidates must satisfy the eligibility conditions to sit for the TS POLYCET 2025 exam. They must have passed or at least be appearing for the SSC/ equiavalent examination to be eligible for the entrance test. Furthermore, candidates must have domicile of the state of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh to be considered eligible. There is no restriction on age for applying for TS POLYCET exam 2025.

General Eligibility Criteria for TS POLYCET 2025

The general eligibility guidelines for TS POLYCET 2025 have been outlined on this page. Candidates are advised to go through the TS POLYCET eligibility criteria 2025 given below:

• Nationality: The candidate should be an Indian citizen. Candidates with no Indian citizenship should not apply for the entrance exam.

• Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 15 years of age to be able to appear in the TS POLYCET 2025 exam. However, there is no upper age limit specified by the conducting authority. 

• Domicile: Only the candidates belonging to the state of Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh can apply for TS POLYCET 2025

• Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have appeared/ qualified in the SSC exam (or equivalent exam) conducted by the Telangana State Board to apply for the TS POLYCET exam 2025.

• Subject Combination: Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects in the 10+2 level to sit for TS POLYCET 2025.

*Note: Candidates who pass their Secondary level examination from different Boards like Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE), Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE), National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), AP Open School Society and other examination recognized the Telangana Government are also eligible to appear in the entrance exam.

• The minimum qualifying marks to be scored by the candidates is 35%. It is to be noted that candidates must have 35% in each subject.

TS POLYCET 2025 Reservation Criteria

SBTET determines the reservation criteria for TS POLYCET 2025 based on the candidates' categories. The eligibility criteria for the candidates belonging to the General category vary from the ones belonging to the other Reserved categories (ST/ SC/ BC). We have provided the reservation percentage of seats for different categories in the table below:-

Apart from this, there are certain other categories that are offered with reserved seats as per the TS POLYCET eligibility criteria 2025. These categories include the following: -

• There are two seats reserved for the candidates belonging to the Anglo India community

• 1% reservation is offered to the students who are a part of the National Cadet Corps.

• Apart from this 33.3 % of total seats in all non-minority co-educational institutes are reserved for the girl candidates.
